donation toward the purchase of a new playground set. The devel-
opment of this play area will further validate Sylvania Moose Lodge
as a Family Center!
We will soon be ordering the playground set and materials for the
base. Groundwork and construction of the area will occur one
weekend this spring. The weekend will be established once we
know the delivery date of all product. We need many volunteers to
make this happen so if you can help with the installation please feel
free to contact us.

Greetings! I would first like to congratulate our incoming WOTM Officers for 2016-17: Shelly Mills-Senior Regent, Nikki Muter-Junior Regent, Janice Leeds-Recorder, and Jill Wood-Secretary/Treasurer. Best wishes to you all and to another successful year! With my year just coming to a close, I would like to thank the officers, chairpersons, and volunteers for their time and commitment. A special thanks to Dede Ruckman for introducing us all to Quarter Mania! A big shout-out goes to Trent Cousino for helping us with our Lite Meals. I appreciated the help and support from Governor Army, Mike, and Mary Lou. Lastly, I’d like to thank all the past Senior Regents for supporting me and helping me throughout the year. Their dedication and assistance helped make the 2015-16 year a success for WOTM!
Mary Hornyak, Past Senior Regent
142nd
From the Governor
Congratulations to our new Board of Officers and Thank You to the outgoing Board for a job well done! As this is supposed to be spring and summer will soon follow, I would like to thank Linda Hoffman for spearheading the fundraiser to pay for a new playground area for our kids. This idea has been raised several times over the years but Linda “got the job done!” Work will be starting soon and many volunteers are needed to make it happen. Watch for signs in the lodge for work schedules. As the weather warms up more picnic tables will be brought out and the walls will be removed from the smoke shack for all to enjoy the great outdoors! Please remember that profanity will not be tolerated on the Moose Lodge premises. Also, remember to pick up after yourselves and to clear your table before leaving.
Fraternally, BoB ‘army’ armstrong
From the senior regent
I would like to thank WOTM for the opportunity to serve as Senior Regent for the 2016-17 year. I value the great advice, support and words of en-couragement I’ve received from many of our Past Senior Regents. I appreciated their input these past few months and have learned a lot! We have a great slate of officers and chairs coming in and I look forward to working with all of you this year. A big thanks goes out to Mary Hornyak and her group of officers and chairs for an excellent year. I encourage all of you to support our upcoming functions, whether you are volunteering or attend-ing, because both are important to the success of our lodge.
Shelly Mills
