designer spotlight:sundaysunset.imagesHow did you get started in your creative business?I’ve been creative for as long as I remember. My dream was to always to be a pop star and during the late 80’s and early 90’s I lived the dream writing, producing and remixing music under various pseudonyms, scoring top 40 hits in the UK and Europe.

Photography has always be a passion of mine and after a major accident in 2010, when I fractured my neck, I decided to put all my efforts into moving everything forward with my image making. I don’t think I could ever not be creative.

What inspires you?Everything and anything. I get a lot of my inspiration from music which can translate into visual ideas very easily. I also look around me and photograph what I like and what I think others would like.

What are you currently working on?I’ve just returned from a trip to the ningaloo reef to photograph whale sharks and the Cape Range National Park. And I’ve been working on a series of aerial images of Perth and the Northern Beaches that capture everyday life here.

What is your favourite design/scent?Today I’m wearing Euphoria by Calvin Klein.

What can we hope to see from your brand in 2013?This year I am aiming to open my first gallery in Perth so that people can come and see my images displayed in an environment that shows them as I would love them to be seen.
