InternationalIntrigue and Immigration By Cameron Cutrone The topic simply brings out the worst in people. It invokes shouts, fights, name call-ing, and general lunacy. Most deceptively, the mainstream media opinion molders steer the debate until we are funneled into two sides: 1.) a flag waving, chest beating bunch of people who have a misguided sense of nationalism, be it Ameri-can, Mexican, etc, or 2.) a self righteous bunch of causehead globalists who believe in good intentions, have a disinterest in results, and feel like they are the last line of defense against the haters. People are at risk of falling into one of these camps if they allow the two party duo-poly to inform their views and supplement it with a daily dose of cable news. Unfortunately, both sides of the divide are shil-ling for the same interests. Multinational corporate interests. Basically, it’s the prevailing force that seeks to engineer the perfect condi-tions for crisis profiteering, create the maximum fluidity of labor and capital, and most importantly, neutralize the factions who care most for the causes of national determin-ism and “human rights.” They HATE it when people take those concepts seriously. So sophisti-cated are they, that rather than try to diminish those powerful impulses, they co-opt them, redefine them, make them mutually exclusive, and run them into the ground in the name of saving them. Generally, the plan goes as follows. They destroy the cur-rency of a nation through usury and fraud whilst seeming so

nice to lend them a hand (aid). Then they announce that free markets are the answer as the nation goes into default, buy up (or appropriate) the nation’s infrastructure, oil, water, minerals, agriculture, drugs, and sell it back to them at a rate unattainable by the average person, forcing them to flee. Often times the emigres end up in a country that is already under the thumb of the multinationals, and become the cheap workforce. To add insult to injury, the very presence of the immigrant class becomes the excuse to impose strict controls on small business (snuffing out their potential competitors), travel-ers (National ID), native middle class wage earners (increas-ingly rare), and create a bloated security apparatus (DHS, TSA, NSA, ATF, FBI, INS, FEMA). All of which continue to enrich the corporate interests and the military industrial complex. Just rinse and repeat. We are all poorer for it, undocu-mented immigrant, legal citi-zen, or otherwise. The only ex-ception is the .001% who profit immensely. This has happened countless times in dozens of countries. For more information and specific examples, check out “Confessions of an Econom-ic Hit Man” by John Perkins, and “The Shock Doctrine” by Naomi Klein. In other words, this is a huge can of worms, bigger than the United States and Mexico. In fact, it’s bigger than coun-tries. Former Chilean President Salvador Allende explained his own struggles with this force in 1972 before the UN. “We find ourselves opposed by forces that operate in the shadows, without a flag, with powerful weapons that are placed in a wide range of influ-ential positions... as a result of the operations directed against the sale of copper in the nations of Western Europe, our short-term operations with private

banks on that continent, mainly based on payment of that metal, have been greatly blocked... This is putting pressures on an economically weak country and punishing a nation for its decision to regain control over its basic resources. It is a pre-meditated form of intervention in the internal affairs of a nation. This is what we call imperialist arrogance.” Whether it’s copper in Chile, fruit in Guatemala, oil in Iran, or drugs in Mexico, humans are not factored into the equation. Except when they end up at our doorstep. And when they do, the government will wink and turn it’s back if the immigrant wants to be a member of the semi-slave class. If you want to do it legally, get in line for 30 years.

Furthermore, what often times isn’t heard about is how hard the undocumented worker situation makes it for people who simply just want to VISIT! Not everyone who wishes to come here is starved for work and willing to break the law. But if the country they hail from is considered to be economically in worse shape, our government is afraid they will stay here past their travel visa expiration. Some may even wonder how “American” some-one is for caring about this. Thomas Jefferson once said that one of our nation’s highest callings is “peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none.” So what we’re talk-ing about here is highly Ameri-can. We should travel, trade, and have cultural exchanges. We don’t help the situation with

entangling alliances like NAFTA, the proposed North American Union, SPP, or any other impe-rial construct masquerading as progress. This must be done by individuals, families, and charities, not bureaucracies and multinationals who seek to ex-ploit. They can, and do far more damage than any one person or small informal group of people with bad intentions. Americans must remember that this is a two-way street. If a highly educated, freedom-loving person wants to visit us, we are a better place with them here. But if they are from Mexico or Ni-geria for example, the government sees it as a risk to let them in. Dear god! They might want to stay! What if the person is an engineer? Or a model? Or someone with a business degree? These are real people men-tioned. They’ve spent thou-sands of dollars applying for a travel visa. Some have tried three times, others dozens of times. Why are they rejected? People in the government are actually worried that educated, upwardly mobile people from these countries are going to give it all up so they can overstay their visa, leave their careers, and join the underground economy to wash dishes and walk dogs. Or even worse, try to

practice medicine or something lucrative! Please. What is the hang up here? Pretty soon, this country could suffer the oppo-site problem. We could be just as poor as everybody else, and needing people’s help. We’re already on the way. Consider the recent influx of Asian doc-tors and engineers. We aren’t producing as many people with those skills as we used to. But why in world are some seek-ing to enact collective punish-ment over immigration? If you think a national ID card is a great idea, why is a birth certificate, passport, social security card, and driver’s license so obsolete?

Ask yourself, is this more inconvenient for immigrants or citizens? Why should citizens have to carry what amounts to an internal passport? Maybe the proponents of this idea should be deported to China. They’d feel very safe. That might be a good solution for those who feel the nation is becoming too crowded. All joking aside, we must con-front the ideologies that drive the global elite. They see people as liabilities. I see people as as-sets. They are consumed with fear of overpopulation, and I’m reading alarming details about skyrocketing sterility rates. They see us as “worthless eaters.” I see us as valuable growers, builders, and inheri-tors of the earth. In fact, they are nothing without us.

How accurate are standard compasses? I’ve heard that you can use them in place of an EMF detector? ~ Steven - North Hampton, MAS.P.I.R.I.T.:Compasses can detect anomalies in the earth’s magnetic field, but not electro-magnetic fields emitting from electrical wiring/outlets or electronic devices. One good use for a compass is in detect-ing an energetic vortex, which can cause a compass to flip and a radio to loose signal with only slight fluctuations on the EMF meter. Therefore, since they detect different fields, we use them in conjunction with each other and not as replacements.

When people die their soul sticks around right? We don’t have the ability to see them, but we can sense them right? ~ Eliza-beth - San Benito, TX

S.P.I.R.I.T.: It all depends on who you ask. We see them regularly. Its all a matter of perception. Most of us can only see a very small portion of the electro-magnetic light spectrum known as visible light. Beyond that, is the ultra-violet spectrum, where some spirits are vis-ible. Some recent studies are showing that most of us can see more into the ultraviolet spec-trum before the age of 8. Could this be why it’s very common for kids to see spirits? Google etheric and astral vision for techniques and books that deal with the subject of improving this ability.

Is it possible for spirits to communicate with some-one with out any electro-magnetic field? In the case of the radio sweep meth-od, you can say it uses the elec-tromagnetic field of the radio band, but others work strictly through randomness. scientific method conducted by Princeton Engineering Anoma-lies Reaseach ( P.E.A.R. ) Their data irrefutably proves that consciousness can interact with randomness. What are spirits? Entities with consciousness. How do they communicate via some EVP methods? Random-ness, e.g., white noise, random audio bits, random sound waves and radio sweeps. Interestingly enough, most, if not all, divina-tory systems like the I-Ching, Tarot Cards, Runes, etc. are based on randomness.

Why do some spirits stick around after so so many years after death? Emotions carry with them lots of energy and add more density

to the spirit body. We feel it’s this emotional baggage that keeps us closer to third dimensional physical reality. This contruct may explain why it’s very com-mon to see and hear physical spirit manifestations in loca-tions of sudden, unexpected, accidental and violet deaths. It may also explain the prevalence of children and anyone who is emotionally attached to the physical plane for whatever reason.

Why is it that they show themselves more at night time? ~ Mirza - Brownsville, TXS.P.I.R.I.T.:We feel that’s a mis-conception. Some of the best apparition photos and video im-ages we have seen from around the world have been captured in plain daylight or with the lights on. We also haven’t noticed any improvments in capturing bet-ter EVP’s at night. Most para-normal groups conduct their investigations at night based on bias or preference in order to capture orbs with flash and infra-red video. Based on our research, we feel that the ideal conditions for spirit manifesta-

tion are during certain moon phases and very dry climate, and is due to the increase of static in the air. The DULCEPAPERS Article by Daz Smith

BACKGROUND:

These documents discuss a joint Alien/government run fa-cility in New Mexico, USA. They show and talk about a piece of cameras footage of alien breed-ing chambers and tanks holding what appears to be grey aliens.

These documents surfaced at a time when Ufology was blossoming around the world, sightings were up and the emergence of the Crop circles had spawned a new generation of interested searchers. During this time many strange docu-ments were fed to the hungry public domain, by strange cloudy background characters like Bill Moore, Bill Hamilton and John Lear. Each of these told a confusing, disturbing story of human / alien interaction, un-derground bases and a secret government at the heart of a cosmic conspiracy.

In 1987 the document fasci-nated me - and cross refer-enced with abduction stories and alleged security guard statements and tit bits from around the world, I felt that the whole story had some element of truth.

Nearly ten years later in 1996 through the internet I found a

piece of film footage that was labeled AREA51. This turned out to show exactly the same scenes as released

in the Dulce Papers almost ten years earlier. In clear detail large upright tanks can be seen with what really does appear to be grey aliens inside! Are they real?

I have seen much written on the Dulce Papers most of this is on the net and some included here. Most of this automatically dismisses the whole DULCE scenario, papers and footage - but I have some questions that would need to be answered before I take this route:

1. Why? and who? would benefit from a hoax lasting over ten years?

2. The film looks very profes-sional - who could have faked it? and why? (no-one has ever come forward)

3. The case goes allot deeper than just the Dulce Papers - Paul Benewitz a researcher who stumbled on a facility in new mexico with aliens was fed false information by the AFOSI, and agent Richard Doty, and researcher William (Bill) Moore. Why?

So is DULCE real, are the papers and video real? I don’t know but one has come forward to say they faked it, and all the accumulative evidence point to a very complex story.

Text from the Papers:

In 1979, something hap-pened at the base with 66 humanskilled and 44 humans es-caping. It is suspected that the USattempted unsuccessfully to take over the base by force.

One of the people who in escaped the facility was a CIA agent who, prior to leaving, made some notes, photos, and videotapes, before going into hiding. He has been in hiding ever since, and every six months he contacts each of five(?) people he left copies of the material with. His instruc-tions were that if he missed foursuccessive contacts, the people could do whatever they want withthe material. The individu-als caring for the packages were nontechnical in nature and new very little about the docu-ments.

In December 1987 a De-scription of these so called “Dulce Papers”was issued, and received by many researchers. The leak is suspected to have come from one of the caretakers of the papers. The Dulce Papers themselves were said to be composed of the following:

W: Welcome to Weird Magazine Mario.Mario Salazar: What up What Up!!! Thank you for having me. Let’s get naked and Weird!

W: Ughh. No. But tell us, how did you first get into comedy?Mario Salazar: I hate to sound cliche but I’ve always been funny and craved the attention. I mean I couldn’t play sports and I wasn’t good looking so acting and pro sports were out of the question, so comedy was my way to the spotlight. My first time on stage was back in 2002 in Okinawa, Japan. There was this comedian at the E Club, that asked if anyone wanted get on stage and do some stand up. So I started telling bootcamp stories I did awesome and that is when I fell in love with the art of stand up.

W: So when is your next show?Mario Salazar: June 10th I’ll be at The Vent Comedy Club in Corpus Christi, I’ll be headlining that show with my little buddy Mark “The Mexican’t” featuring for me. June 25th I’ll be in Rio Grande City performing at Tequilas Sports Bar. In the fall I’m going on a west coast tour that includes LA, San Jose and AZ.

W: Name some influ-ences in comedy grow-ing up.Mario Salazar: My mom is Mexican so she didn’t care what I watched and didn’t know the things I watched growing up. The 80s were the decade of stand up comedy blowing up. I would watch Sam Kinison and Andrew Dice Clay at 10 or 11 years. Seeing these guys cursing up a storm influenced me because they were so raunchy, dirty and loud. How they were then is how I was in the beginning but now I have learned to not be so loud and dirty but still be funny. It takes art to be funny without the F Bombs and such, I still curse quite a bit on my show but I have learned to tone down a lot.

W: Your stuck in the Fro-zen Tundra of Greenland. All you need to survive the winter season is?( I asked this to the bar-tender of the month). Mario Salazar: A fat chick so I can smash her pan and be warm. Also all the Wu-Tang, Johnny Cash, George Strait mu-sic and an old school nintendo with Mike Tyson Punch Out and Excite Bikes games. Oh and a lot of dro, it is called Greenland after all arrrrh arrrrh!

W: Have you ever bombed when you start-ed out?Mario Salazar: I was lucky that the first couple of times I did stand up I was trashed and probably did not noticed I bombed. The first time ever

headlining a show was the first time I bombed and horribly. My whole family was there, tia’s, my mom “Misses Salazar”, my sister and cousins. They were all there to see me perform and I bombed miserbably. I remem-ber that show because it gives me nightmares and I think my family based my career on that one performance and I com-pletey sucked. I am irrespon-sable but I take my comedy seriously. I am a perfectionist with my comedy now, in some comedians eyes they wouldn’t consider it a bomb, but to me if I don’t have ebruptions of laugh-ter every second, I consider it a bomb. Im really hard on myself, which is probably why I’m starting to get grey hairs on my balls.

W: Ever hear the one about the Rabbi, the prostitute and the sheep-dog?

Mario Sala-zar:Yah. The Rabbi was banging the pros-titute and the sheep-dog comes in and says “thats not kosher, woof woof.”Nah I haven’t heard of that

one but have you heard the one of the masked luchador called El Repub-licano and his tag team partner Aryan Barba-ran? They are coming to invade the open mics in Austin as are throw trail mix at the Austin demo-crats.

W: So where can we see you regularly perform?Mario Salazarr: People

can catch me every week on Tuesdays in Weslaco at Paradise Roadhouse and on Wednesday’s and Friday’s at Cine El Rey in McAllen. I’m host for The Valley Comedy Tour, where everyone can catch me as well with some of the best comics from across the country. I’m also very hon-ored to be the one to create a comedy scene here in the valley. When I started nobody gave me a hand so I’m giving back by mentoring comics by giving them a stage to prefect their act’s on. Some of the lo-cal comics I have seen grown because of the Valley Comedy Tour is Mark “The Mexican’t”, Adrian Garcia, Sony Trevino, Sexy Carlos, Penny Lane and Jaime Flores.

W:Something nobody knows about you?Mario Salazar: I’m a sensitive bitch lol (chuckling). I really am not the life of the party, I’m very reserved person and if you thought I was gay before you’re really going to think I’m gay now, but when I want to get away I like to go watch chick flicks by myself. I like to get away from people but then my ego comes back. For instance this one time I was in line to see Ghost of Girlfriend’s Past and I told the guy “one ticket” there was this young couple behind me and the girl said “aww this guy came to the movies by himself”. I replied “yah because im Superstar Salazar and I want to get away from all these people.” She looked at me like who the hell is Super-star Salazar.

W: Who are some of your favorite comics now?Mario Salazar: My favorite all time is Dave Chappell. I love his timing, his amazing talent and his mannerisms. On stage I have the same mannerisms as he does. I’ve a huge fan way before his show and I’m glad to see he is getting back to his roots of stand up. If you ask comics, a lot will say Bill Burr. He is one of the smartest comics today. Bill is not that well known in the public eye but again, ask any comic and he is what we all try to be, he is one the smartest and well respect-ed comics. I love Jimmy Kemel, last month Nick Allutto had a Rodney Dangerfield tattoo , well I plan on getting a tattoo of Jimmy or Clay Aikon one day.

W: What is your signa-ture joke?Mario Salazar: Some of my signature jokes include Misses Salazar, Pineapple Juice and BLAH but the one joke I’m most proud of is the first joke I did. I was smoking weed watching the weather channel the creator had died the week before. He was 82 and cloudy!

W: What do you want to get out of being a stand up comic? Mario Salazar: I want to venture into movies and acting. I want to be the first fat action hero. Hollywood needs more regular guys kicking ass. I’m always going to come back to stand up though because its my first love. Stand up is my wife and acting is my mistress. Like a lot of latino comics...cough cough...George Lopez, that only talks about latino issues and hates white people, I’m a fat dude from the hood telling my story but I’m very eclectic that every race can relate to me.

W: Thanks Mario! by Larry Blackwell In a year riddled by earth-quakes, riots, tsunamis, E. coli outbreaks, tornados and flooding, a preacher in Oakland, California called for much of God-fearing America’s best behavior in what he believed to be the rapture. The pro-paganda was led by Harold Camping, president of Family Radio, who claimed that May 21 would consist of a tremendous earthquake and be the begin-ning of a five-month downfall to mankind’s existence. The propaganda campaign was backed by millions of Family Ra-dio’s dollars, and has since let Camping re-forecast the termi-nal demise to occur on October 21, “Doomsday,” all this ac-cording to Judgementday2011.com (a website that misspells judgment in its name). Meteor showers with a chance of earth-quakes were forecasted, all the while a billboard advertised a judgment day hotline on the way to Austin. Eternal Earth-Bound Pets, USA has already began passing around the collection plate in the atheists corner, guaran-teeing that with a $135.00 payment your pet will be taken care of by a devout atheist, should the rapture occur within ten years of payment. And with that kind of servitude to devout neighbors of any faith, we all should earn a few brownie points at final judgment. If only a massive number of American citizens would sud-denly ascend into heaven, much of the slow-rolling economy we are now seeing would free up for those left to weather the days of rapture. I’ll put it this way, Martin Sheen went apeshit in his role depicting Capt. Willard in “Apocalypse Now” karate-chopping through furniture as

he waited for a mission. Three decades and some change later Charlie Sheen went AWOL from the set of “Two and a Half Men” as he asked for a raise from CBS net-works. With all mathematical equations and intense biblical speculations set aside, I’d leave it to a Sheen, or spawn of to therefore set a date for the next apocalypse. Take that with an aspirin.

Making Zombies Illegal in Haiti

Haitians are 50% Catholic and 100% Voodoo priests - says a military member of Brazilian peace forces, that are working in the capital Port-au-Prince since 2004. The mysticism of the inhabitants of the western part of the island of His-paniola, the Caribbean, is consid-ered taboo by most of the western world and has little relationship with rag dolls targeted needles.

Haitian Voodoo has its root in Africa. The practices are widespread in the Caribbean nation, whose deep misery gives to gives the nation the worst Human Development Index (HDI) of the Americas.

In houses whose roofs have a sort of scarecrow with red rags, at least 40 priests were murdered, says Brazil’s ambassador to Haiti, Igor Kipman. Part of the population at-tributed to them the responsibility for the deaths of more than 3300 people that were victims from cholera.

Nazis Tried to Teach Dogs to Talk and Read

Only a month ago it was revealed that the Nazis had planned to kill allied forces with poisoned sausages if they man-aged to set foot on German soil.

Now an equally unlikely weapon in Hitler’s armoury has emerged – talking dogs.

The Germans saw canines as being almost as intelligent as humans and tried to train them to ‘speak’, read and spell, a uni-versity academic claims. They

even conducted experiments in man-to-dog telepathy.

Hitler, a well-known dog lover, hoped the animals would learn to communicate with their SS masters, and supported a spe-cial dog school set up to teach them to talk.

Nazi officials recruited so-called educated dogs from all over Germany and trained them to tap out signals using their paws.

Some were said to have been able to imitate the human voice, with one apparently uttering the words ‘Mein Fuhrer’ when asked who Adolf Hitler was. Another was said to have ‘writ-ten’ poetry. The Germans hoped to use the animals for the war effort, such as getting them to work along-side the SS and guard concen-tration camps.

The experiments are reported in research by academic Dr Jan Bondeson into ‘unique and amazing dogs in history’.

Dr Bondeson, of Cardiff Uni-versity, visited Berlin where he scoured obscure periodicals to build up an account of the more out-of-this world Nazi ideas. Hitler himself had two German Shepherds called Blondi and Bella. He killed Blondi moments before committing suicide in his bunker in 1945.

The dog school was called the

Tier-Sprechschule ASRA and was based near Hanover. Led by headmistress Margarethe Schmitt, it was set up in the 1930s and continued through-out the war years.

Are UFO Sightings At Dulce A Bigger Story Than Roswell?

A look at the new book from Global Communications: “Underground Alien Bio Lab At Dulce: The Bennewitz UFO Papers”

The story of Paul Bennewitz is one of the sadder ones in all of Ufology. He seems to have been a victim from the very beginning, though he was not victimized by the aliens he came to believe in but rather by the shadowy finagling of a government he mistakenly gave his trust to.

Bennewitz’s experience, as related in a new book on his struggle called “Underground Alien Bio Lab at Dulce: The Ben-

newitz UFO Papers,” started in 1979. The twisted trail that is the story of Bennewitz

took many bizarre turns on its path to UFO and conspiracy theory legend. One of the more mysterious places it led to is the tiny New Mexico town of Dulce, located not far from the Four Corners region of the American

Southwest. For my own contri-bution to the abovementioned book, I spoke to some research-ers about the strange rumors continually floating around Dulce, which together form one of the most interesting enigmas of the present age. Perhaps the most vocal and visible expert on the Dulce mysteries is Norio Hayakawa, who has written many articles on the subject and appeared numerous times on radio and television programs dealing with the town. “Dulce, New Mexico,” Hayaka-wa said, “is a location filled with

mysteries that are still ongoing. I believe it is far more interest-ing than Roswell. Yes, Roswell was significant in that it is the alleged location of the crash of extraterrestrial vehicles in 1947, but, you know, that was it. But Dulce is something differ-ent. It is an ongoing thing that is taking place. “Not only that,” Hayakawa con-tinued, “but Dulce has the high-est percentage per population of UFO sightings. This is a fact. Almost the entire town of Dulce, which has a population of about 2,600 now, almost the entire population has experienced a sighting of strange objects in the past 30 years. This is the highest percentage of any com-munity in the United States.” But back to Bennewitz. The story goes that Bennewitz was a scientist living near Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1979, he began to observe the flights of mysteri-ous objects that were visible from his home, which was also adjacent to the Monzano Stor-age Area, the country’s largest underground nuclear storage facility, as well as the nearby Coyote Canyon Test Range. “Albuquerque is very sig-nificant,” Hayakawa said, “because it is where German scientists were first trans-ferred in 1945, immediately after World War II, through the Operation Paperclip Program in which the U.S. brought in to the country not only scientists from Germany but also many skilled intelligence officers.” Bennewitz began to film and at-tempt to report on the strange aerial activity he was witness-ing, which immediately drew the interest of the government. One theory is that the bewil-dered scientist was seeing test flights of what are called “UAVs,” or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, pilot-less aircraft that are remotely controlled either on the ground or programmed by onboard computer systems. Whatever the secret flights involved, the government did not want Bennewitz to know the truth.

Apparently, so the story goes, the government brainwashed Bennewitz into believing that he was witnessing a flight of alien discs over Kirtland Air Force Base. Bennewitz received a message somehow, either by radio or over his computer, say-ing that there is a secret base 150 miles north of Albuquerque in the mountains. Bennewitz was provided with the exact coordinates of this alien base, which of course turned out to be Dulce. Bennewitz was never able to prove either the existence of aliens over Kirtland or the government’s manipulations of his attempt to document the mysterious over-flights. He sank deeper and deeper into an increasingly paranoid frame of mind, unable to cope with the bizarre scenario that he had been ensnared in. In the years before his death in 2003, he corresponded with a woman named Christa Tilton, an alien abductee who was conducting research into UFOs in an attempt to understand her own experiences with what she felt may have been government agents posing as extraterres-trials. A reprint of her manu-script about her dealings with Bennewitz is included in the new book, as well as photocop-ies of newspaper articles that dealt with Bennewitz and other witnesses to the strange craft and letters exchanged with local law enforcement officials,

who totally pooh-poohed any inquiries into the alien rumors around Dulce. It all coalesces into a very complicated story that leaves one with more questions than answers, but Tilton and the other writers do their utmost to bring some order to the general chaos. For instance, the book also offers a lengthy interview with Thomas Costello, who claims to have been employed as a security guard at an under-ground facility in Dulce. Costello talks at length about interacting with aliens far below the surface and some of the protocols the humans and aliens were required to observe. Costello would sometimes be forced to intervene if a human wandered out of the zones where earth-lings were permitted and had to try to smooth things over when an alien felt a human had crossed some kind of agreed upon line.

The interview with Costello, conducted by a writer named Bruce Walton (who also appears under the pseudonym Bran-ton), is fraught with the kind of detailed information about day-to-day human and alien interaction that would seem to be very difficult to conjure out of nothing. Costello died about a year after the interview was conducted, a questionable case of suicide. In addition, the book includes a very scholarly report by

Dr. Michael Salla in which he attempts to understand the Bennewitz/Dulce story based on primary sources as opposed to secondhand information and hearsay. “Was Bennewitz just an over-zealous UFO researcher,” Salla asks, “that accidentally tapped into highly classified Air Force research and development projects, or was he an electron-ics genius who single-handedly uncovered the existence of a joint U.S. government/ET underground base where ETs conducted gross human rights violations on abducted civil-ians? Seeking clear answers to these questions have spurred a number of books, articles and internet websites. A more scholarly effort of analyzing the primary source material avail-able on Dulce is needed to help answer key questions about the alleged base at Dulce.” And just what would that primary source material be? Salla said he started by review-ing whistleblower testimonies that would seem to support

Bennewitz as well as analyzing current government whistle-blower protection laws. The long and tangled path was not made much clearer, but at least a sensible effort to solve the mystery in real world terms was underway. There is no easy way to answer the question of “Who can we believe?” Two different govern-ment disinformation agents, Richard Doty and William Moore, have both publicly confessed on more than one occasion to feed-ing disinformation to Bennewitz designed to throw him off the scent of what he had uncovered and documented about Kirtland Air Force Base and Dulce. As stated previously, Bennewitz began to grow increasingly paranoid as a result of their ef-forts at brainwashing him. Writer Leslie Gunter contrib-utes a report on Bennewitz to the book in which she firmly declares, “Still, Paul Bennewitz was not a complete nut. The signals he was receiving were real signals and Doty says the National Security Agency, who had their own offices at the base, were doing the sending and receiving. Doty was eventu-ally replaced by NSA agents who wanted to make sure Bennewitz discredited himself

by spreading wild stories about UFOs. They also wanted to keep an eye on him to make sure that he wasn’t sharing his method of intercepting these signals with Soviet spies posing as UFO enthusiasts.” The pattern of deception ex-tended to the cattle mutilations around Dulce, which the NSA wanted Bennewitz to continue to blame on the alien presence in the area. They also installed some fake air shafts in Dulce that Bennewitz was intended to believe served the underground base below. Sorting through the lies and manipulation, as Dr. Salla seeks to do, would seem a daunting task to say the least. “In 1988,” Gunter writes, “after eight years of constant stress and lack of sleep, Paul Bennewitz had to be taken to a mental hospital. His paranoia had reached an all time high and he had pretty much barricaded himself in his home. He was hardly eating or sleeping and was sure aliens were coming into his home late at night and injecting him with strange chemicals.” Gunter credits Bennewitz with being the first to state that the alien abductors were inserting implants into their abductees, though Bennewitz felt the implants were some method of mind control as opposed to the more popular theory that they serve as a kind of tracking de-vice that keeps the whereabouts of abductees easy to pinpoint. Bennewitz did show others the needle marks left behind after the alleged alien injections, but it was never certain whether the marks were self-inflicted or were in fact made in the way he claimed. But leaving aside the story of Bennewitz’s personal strug-gles, his revelations about the underground base at Dulce were nothing short of spectacular. The rumors that have circulated since then are full of nightmare scenarios like huge vats of hu-man and animal body parts used in genetic experiments, per-haps in further efforts to create an alien-human hybrid species or an even stranger chimera that is part human and part

animal. One expert says the government and the aliens may be working to create a “perfect soldier,” one that is capable of fearlessness and obedience be-yond that of the normal GI grunt. There is the case of a female abductee who claimed that she was in one of the lower sections of Dulce when an alien walked right through the wall and raped her. That kind of forced copula-tion may also be a component of the genetics experimenta-tion said to take place in Dulce, the goal being to impregnate the human female with an alien seed and see what is produced, a scenario already familiar from other stories of alien abduction. For my part of the book, I also spoke to Bill Birnes, the pub-lisher of “UFO Magazine” and the team leader on the History Channel program “UFO Hunt-ers.” Birnes said that one possi-bility about what’s happening at Dulce may involve experiments with various virulent diseases and certain kinds of bacteria. The government could also be researching mad cow disease and its penetration into the American beef supply, which may account for some of the cattle mutilations in the area. The secrecy could have something to do with keeping the mad cow problem from pan-icking an already jittery public. They may also be using cattle to determine how much the ground was penetrated by nuclear fallout following the atomic test-ing in the last century. Most of the land there is owned by the government, specifically the Bureau of Land Management, Birnes said, and the base may also lease some of the land from the nearby Indian reservation. When asked about the “alien stuff,” Birnes replied, “Quite frankly, I can understand the alien hypothesis. I really do be-lieve that there are areas where aliens and humans are work-ing together, such as Area 51 and S-4. But whether Dulce is indeed that kind of base or not, everything we’ve seen – when you talk to Norio Hayakawa, when you talk to Gabe Valdez, a New Mexico state trooper, they really discount the alien con-nection and talk more about the New World Order. But I mean,

the base is top secret, and there are serious things happening at the base. But whether it’s because of aliens or because the aliens are a very convenient cover for even more dastardly things going on there – that I can’t tell you.” While Birnes obviously has his doubts about an alien pres-ence in Dulce, he did relate an interesting story about what has come to be called the “Firefight at Dulce.” “The story goes that all the way back in the 1980s,” he said, “the extraterrestrials were giv-ing a lecture to some scientists. In that demonstration, a lot of the scientists were getting sick because of what the aliens were doing. So some of our military guards, who were prohibited from entering the area and prohibited from carrying any kind of weapons into that area, suddenly burst in to protect the scientists. “And the aliens re-acted,” Birnes continued, “by basically turning their weapons on the security guards, killing them. Some aliens were killed and some scientists were killed. And supposedly we all worked very hard to try to patch it to-gether so there wouldn’t be any more incidents like that.” Which brings us back to Paul Bennewitz. Was he just another casualty in a war zone of alien and government conflict? Did he cross some line of know-ing that upset the powers that be, again powers that are both human and alien? While these questions cannot presently be answered, and may in fact never be answered, reading “Underground Alien Bio Lab At Dulce: The Bennewitz UFO Papers” will at least bring the curious reader up to speed on the ongoing discussion and the seemingly unending tug of war about the truth. Whether we’re dealing with human beings and/or an alien contingent, they all seem to be playing this game for keeps.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and ef-fects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no War-rants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. 4th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution (as it reads, not as it is interpret-ed by the courts)

What has happened to the prohibition against un-reasonable searches and seizures in the United States of America? One only has to look as far as the enforce-ment of marijuana or DWI laws for a frightening exam-ple of where our country is headed. The Supreme Court kicked the 4th Amendment in the teeth this month in a Kentucky case, Kentucky V. King, involving the search for

marijuana in a residence. The Courts have always supported the assertion

that the police could enter a business or residence if “exigent circumstances” existed. Generally, the exi-gency was the prevention of the destruction of evidence such as possessed drugs or, as of late, alcohol in a driver’s blood. But the re-cent Kentucky case involved the police creating the exigency and then using it to gain entrance to a residence without a warrant.

While chasing someone into an apartment complex, Of-ficers claimed they smelled marijuana “near” an apart-ment then began banging on the door to the apartment that they determined was the source of the smell. Shouting “this is the police” caused the occupants of the residence to make noises that the police interpreted as “the destruction of evi-dence”.

So the officers did the only reasonable thing that police officers do - they broke down the door and found drugs in the apartment and made an arrest. The per-son they were chasing was

not in that apartment. The trial court upheld the police conduct but the Kentucky Supreme Court ruled that the exigent circumstances exception to the Constitu-tion should not apply when the police cause the exigen-cy (by beating on the door and shouting “this is the police”). The prosecutors got upset and appealed the decision to the top federal court.

The Supremes voted 8 - 1 to allow law enforcement officers throughout the land to stomp on what little was left of our 4th Amendment Right against unreason-able searches and seizures. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was the only Justice to stand up for common sense and our Constitution. Ginsburg stated “In lieu of presenting their evidence to a neutral magistrate, police officers may now knock, listen, then break the door down, never mind that they had ample time to obtain a warrant.”

In his opinion, Justice Sam-uel A. Alito suggested that there would be no violation of the Constitution “even if a police officer acted in bad faith in an attempt to evade the warrant requirement.”

A police officer acting in ‘bad faith” means that he inten-tionally violat-ed the law as he understood it. In other words, the cop didn’t make a mistake or misunder-stand the law. Alito is giving the cops permis-sion to screw over the people he sworn under oath to protect and to serve.

Isn’t it comforting to know that one of the newer ap-pointees on the court has such concern for our police. Where is his concern for the public? Who does he think the Constitution has written to protect? Justice Alito’s thought processes are an af-front to the Constitution and he was joined by seven other Justices.

And doesn’t it make you feel good to know that President Obama’s picks, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor fell right in line with the majori-ty. I fail to see the difference between the two political parties that nominate and confirm these Justices and I fail to see the justice that we were promised by our Constitution. I graduated from Texas State University in 1978 and my classmates would have laughed in your face had you predicted the “Police State” we currently live in. One reporter sug-gested that as long as these cases involve citizens “living in the Hood” the citizenry will just look the other way. But one day the law made in “the Hood” will come to the suburbs and then who will speak out against overt zeal-ous police tactics.

The Texas Constitution can offer greater protection than the U.S. version but with the current makeup of our Court of Criminal Appeals there is no relief in sight. Remem-ber this court supports the proposition that “a sleeping attorney is not necessarily incompetent” in a death penalty case. Between the Post 911 brainwashing of the sheople, the (un)Patriot Act, the current U.S. Su-preme Court and the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals rulings, I don’t personally see the pendulum swinging back to common sense and good judgement any time soon.

We just saw the Texas Leg-islature narrowly fail to pass DWI Roadblocks and other extreme law enforcement oriented laws but they will return with the next session. Apparently, we the sheep are not intelligent enough to supervise our own behavior and we must be babysat by

Big Brother. It just wouldn’t do for us to run our own lives, have fun and be left alone (as long as we aren’t hurting others). The problem is that our elected overseers have decided that we must not be allowed to hurt ourselves. So we have seatbelt laws, open container laws, “drink, drive, go to jail” laws, mari-juana prohibition laws and on and on it goes.

Texas has its head buried in the sand when it comes to pain therapy and medici-nal marijuana. Why would we want cancer patients, Chronic Pain sufferers and other citizens with legitimate health issues to be forced to use addictive, toxic, narcotic pain drugs instead of medicinal can-nabis? The Alcohol, Tobacco and Drug lobbies will never stand for effective treatment that you can grow in your own home. But of course, then you would hear the police beating on your door and creating the exigency to break down your door.

Please know your legal rights and never stop de-manding account-ability from our elected officials and law enforce-ment person-nel. The Police are supposed to protect and serve the citizenry and it is our obligation to demand that they do so. I’ve tried and can’t find a whole lot on this film but the movie trailer. But, here is what we do know. No, that would be my Alcoholic aunt Suzy , and lord knows much scarier than any JJ Abrams film.
