Next Sunday members of Sophia Circle will be in the Connector to collect donations for the June Festival of Sharing Kit which is paper products. The pack is valued at $14 per kit by the Festival of Sharing Office. Because of the size of the kit, we will not have a sample kit on the table but the contents of each kit is: 3 packages of toilet tissue (4 double rolls each), 2 rolls of paper towels (good quality), and 2 large rectangular boxes of facial tissue. Place all items in a tall-size kitchen trash bag. Close securely. We appreciate the generous support of the MUMC congregation in our mission to the Festival of Sharing. June 16: Prayer shawl ministry evening knitting group will meet Tuesday, June 16 at 5:30 p.m. in the Cornerstone Coffee Shop area.

July 1: The Missouri United Methodist Foundation Board will be accepting applications for grants at the July meeting. Applications should address the religious, charitable and educational activities of the church. Application forms are available at the church office.

July 9: Christmas Dinner Donations and Volunteers Needed - The Annual Christmas in July Dinner will be held July 9 from 5:30-7 p.m. at MUMC. This dinner provides food for more than 400 people. Santa will visit and children will be entertained with craft activities. Donations of cash, food, childrens activity books and crayons are needed.
