Dear Conference Attendees:
I’d like to personally welcome each of you to the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) 49th National Conference. It’s an exciting time for NAMC as they continue to be a strong voice for minority-owned businesses. As an organization, NAMC has the vision, the knowledge, the wherewithal and the experience to help minority-owned businesses pave their way to future success. As a longtime and focused advocate for minority businesses, you are truly an asset. And I think that NAMC business-owners would agree that they could not accomplish what they do without your support and leadership. My personal respect and thanks goes out to all of you. I look forward to continue working with NAMC and its members. Sincerely,
Royce West State Senator District 23

ABOUT NAMCFounded in Oakland, California in 1969 by Raymond Dones and Joseph Debro, the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) is the leading trade association dedicated to promoting the full participation of minority-owned, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises (M/W/SBE/AC/ DBE) in the construction industry. Through a network of local chapters and in collaboration with strategic and corporate partnerships, NAMC assists members with building capacity by providing access to opportunity, advocacy, and contractor development training.
With over 50 Hall of Fame members, a number of Legacy Builders and an annual project capacity of over one billion dollars nationally, NAMC has established a great legacy within the construction industry. Today, greater than ever before, the need for the continued expansion of NAMC’s presence and voice in the industry is paramount. Our mission of providing Access (contract & resource opportunities), Advocacy (legislative impact), and Contractor Readiness (training, capacity building, and growth) for our members can only be accomplished in collaboration with our major corporate partners, community/public partners and strategic alliances. Proceeds from the conference go toward this end.
