CHRISTIAN STEWARDSHIP: A WAY OF LIFE
Holy Trinity Sunday immerses us in the biggest mystery of our faith. One God in three persons. We will never
understand it, but we can participate in the joy of receiving grace that comes from the Holy Trinity.
In the sacrament of baptism each one of us became a living branch that is attached by Jesus Christ into this
mystery. God, the Father created us that by living in His Son we will have life through the Holy Spirit. In the
world of trivia, and being casual on every possible level, this is a point when there is no space for mediocre
existence. The entire creation kneels in front of this truth – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
are One God only. There are no other gods, there is no other truth, there is no other source of life.

Fr. Bierbaum Appointed Pastor at St. Mark Parish
Dear Parishioners,
It is with great sadness that I share with you the news that Fr. Bierbaum has been appointed as the new pastor of
St. Mark’s parish, effective July 1st.
The Holy Spirit, acting through Bishop Sheridan, has recognized Fr. Bierbaum’s gifts and talents, and is tasking
him with a new calling, as Pastor of St. Mark’s. We, as a parish, have been blessed by Fr. Bierbaum’s work here
as Parochial Vicar, and it is with thanksgiving for the time and blessings that Fr. Bierbaum has shared with us that
we wish him only the best at St. Mark’s.
Let us keep him in our prayers as he embarks upon the journey as their spiritual leader.
Fr. Marek Król

The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Pax Christi
Who we are and what we do… The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Pax Christi are parishioners (or
“Vincentians” as we call ourselves) that serve the poor and needy in our area. We meet once a month and also volunteer to go out on occasional home visits.
We help with rent, food and utilities and also provide resources for addi-tional services to those in need.
It may not be easy to see them, but there are families and individuals throughout Douglas County and our surrounding area who are in desperate need of our love and support. Despite the prosperity of our community, pov-erty and pain are all around us. Often, St. Vincent de Paul is a lifeline for people struggling to survive. In the spirit of Christ, who leads our minis-try, we help our neighbors based on need – without judgment.
If you would like to share your time
and talents with this ministry,
please contact us at
Lunch Bunch
Pope Francis said "Among us, who is above must be in service of the others.
This doesn't mean we have to wash
each other's feet every day, but we
must help one another."
That's what the Lunch Bunch is all about—helping others by making lunches for the inhabitants of Samari-tan House. By joining this ministry you will be scheduled to make 12 lunches two times yearly. Lunch Bunch is a great way to show your children how to be in service to oth-ers. Contact Carmen McDermott at [email protected] with questions or to join this worthwhile ministry.

The Catholic Legacy
Society was created to honor our legacy donors who have named their parish, Catholic school or a ministry of the Diocese of Colorado Springs as a beneficiary in their will or trust, retirement account, charitable gift annuity or charitable trust, life insurance policy, or through the establishment of an endowed fund.
The Diocese is grateful to acknowledge these special benefactors during their lifetimes. And, in conjunc-tion with our mission, this special society provides an opportunity for benefactors to make their philanthropy a perpetual legacy for themselves and an example for their families. It also creates an infrastructure of support that makes our parishes, schools and ministries stronger, sustainable and better equipped to reach future generations.
If you have named your parish, a Catholic school or a ministry of the Diocese of Colorado Springs in your estate plan, or are considering doing so, we invite you to become a member of the Catholic Legacy Society.
