If You Do…
• Then, let’s go over some free tips to help you pack on a few inches to your vertical jump.
Tip #1: Stretch Your Hip Flexors
• Tight hip flexors and ankles will lead to faulty movement patterns and won't allow you to fire maximally into triple extension with the proper muscle sequence.
Tip #2: Train Your Posterior Chain
• In the weight room, the common tendency is to train mostly the mirror muscles (front side of your body), but for athletic success you need to balance it out and train the side you don’t see (back, hamstrings, glutes)

• This means exercises such as BB Squats, Deadlifts, and Power Cleans
Tip #3: Fast Drop
• The quicker you can drop and rebound up. The faster and higher you will jump.
• You want to aim for a quick lowering of your body on the eccentric phase and to train your SSC for the rebound (This is where plyometric come into play to help)
