GOLF TOURNAMENT WAS A SUCCESS Links on the Bayou Golf Course was windy May 20, 2011 as Rapides Station Community Ministries, Inc hosted its first Annual Golf Tournament. Lunch was served at 12:00 and all players were assembled in their teams, land in their golf carts by 1:15. Par for the golf course is 72; our teams did very well. Alexandria Health Fair

Urgent Care services has opened in Alex-

andria at Windermere Boulevard and they

hosted a health fair. Local radio station

FM 106.9 was present and interviewed

Linda Venson, RSCM Administrative Di-

rector and Willie Watson, Regions Bank

Branch Manager and RSCM Board Mem-

ber. Attendees had Blood Sugars meas-

ured to screen for Diabetes, Blood samples

were taken to screen for high cholesterol,

eyes were evaluated for glaucoma and

cataracts and blood pressures were meas-

ured. Each booth had light refreshments

and everyone had a smile to share.

Three houses located in Alsace-Lorraine Subdivision and two in Pineville are ready to sale. Two houses

on Coeur Circle have been spoken for and the purchasing process has begun. The remaining houses are
