July News & Updates Youth Update: Thank you to everyone for their support as some of our youth participated in Salkehatchie Summer Service. Your prayers, words of encouragement, and financial support went a long way in sup- porting our youth as they continued to grow in Christ and put into action being His hands and feet. July We will resume meeting from 4:00pm-6:00pm on Sundays. 21st - 9:30 am Killingsworth Boatload of fun. **See Brandi for more information 22nd - No Youth (VBS that evening) 22nd-25th - VBS 26th - 7:00pm-9:00pm Christian Skate Night at 3 Fountains Skating Rink (FREE skating and mini golf) Children's Ministry: Children's Ministry has started their yearly envelope fundraiser. Across from the nursery you will find boards with numbers 1-125 (to represent the approx. 125 persons that eat dinner each night of VBS). Take an envelope that matches the dollar amount that you would like to contribute. Envelopes can be placed in the offering plate. There are some blank envelopes attached if you want a number that is already chosen. The donations will primarily be used to fund food and activities for Vacation Bible School. Any extra money will be used to fund other children's ministry needs/events through the year. Thank you for making children's ministry possible! We need large boxes and newspaper. These will be used to decorate for summer events like VBS. A newspaper collection bin will be placed in the narthex. Boxes can be left in the church office or Fellowship Hall. Whether you are an experienced paddler or have never been on the water before, this is your opportunity to have a "Boatload of Fun" while supporting this worthwhile mission institution! It's $35 per person. No pets or alcohol, please. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by adults. Please check by the office for more details and a registration form.
