FLYING MODEL FACILITY Accessibility Flying Model Facility for competitors’ disposal will be available from the July 23nd, 2011 08:00 to August 29th, 2011 19:00 . The flying site will be protected and guarded 24 hours a day. 13. TRANSPORTATION From or to Airports The Organizers will arrange a paid special transportation for models from and /to Warsaw, Katowice or Cracow Airport if needed. 14. PARTICIPATION National Teams for European Championships Teams may consist of: Team manager Assistant team manager 1 junior competitor and maximum 3 senior competitors in class F2A 1 junior competitor and maximum 3 senior competitors in class F2B 1 junior team /pilot & mechanic/ and maximum 3 seniors teams /pilot & mechanic/ in class F2C 1 junior competitor and maximum 3 senior competitors in F2D Helpers and supporters Direct qualification As per rule B.3.5 and B.3.4 of FAI Sporting Code Section 4 Aeromodelling, Volume ABR 2011 Edition, the reigning European Champions have the right (subject to the approval of his National Airsports Control) to participate in the European Championships in his category regardless of whether he qualifies for the national team or not. If he is not a member of the national team, his score will not be considered in the team results. Licensing Each competitor, team manager and assistant team manager and F2D mechanic must possess a FAI Sporting License, valid for 2011, issued by their NAC. 15. CLASSIFICATIONS AND AWARDS There will be two independent individual and team classifications. Winners will be awarded with FAI medals and diplomas and the Organizers prizes. The F2B Individual Trophy “FAI Championat d’Europe F2B”, presently held by Richard Kornmeier (Germany), will be awarded to the winner of the F2B competition. The F2D Challenge Individual Trophy, presently held by Andrey Belyaev (Russia), will be awarded to the winner of the F2D competition. 16. LANGUAGES Official contest languages English and Polish 17. This also includes payment for hotel, camping, banquet etc. (acc. to Final Entry Form) For entry fees received later then April 30th, 2011 participants must pay an additional fee of 10%. The entry fee paid at the contest site will be increased by 20%, and must be paid in cash or by major credit card to the contest office. 18. PROTESTS Rules All protests must be presented in writing to the Sports Director at the competition site, and must be accompanied by a deposit of the fee. MODELS PROCESSING FAI Specification Certificate Each competitor must present a valid FAI SPECIFICATION CERTIFICATE for his model /s/ from his NAC, according to FAI Sporting Code Section 4 Aeromodelling, Volume ABR 2011 Edition Important caution. Model aircraft not properly processed by NAC, must be processed by the organizer at a cost of 8€ for each model. 24. NATIONAL FLAGS AND ANTHEMS Team manager duty The Team Manager, or any other team member in his place, is kindly requested to bring one flag appr. 1m x 1,5m and a CD with the national anthem. Collection and return Flag and CD will be collected during the team’s registration, and returned after the closing ceremony. 25. REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPANTS Time and place of registration

Registration of participants will take place in the Contest Office according to The Official Schedule. Documents for registration: During registration the Team Manager must present: Team Manager’s, Assistant Team Manager’s, Competitors and F2D Mechanics FAI licenses valid

for 2011 A copy of the teams banking payment receipt One national flag 1.0m * 1.5m One CD with national anthem For FAI Licences that do not carry photographs or the date of birth then valid photographic ID is

required. ENTRY FORMS Photographs All Team Managers are requested to send by email to the organizers: passport size photographs of Team members each competitor’s photographs with his model /s/. FUEL FOR MODELS Shipping and Purchasing The fuel for F2C and F2B models can be shipped to the Organizers. The responsibility on time delivery /fuel to the contest site/ lies on a contestant. The Organizers are responsible for arranging safe storage for this fuel. Standard Fuel The Organizers will provide the standard formula fuel for F2A 80% methanol / 20% first pressing castor oil and for F2D 10% nitromethane / 20% first pressing castor oil/ / 70% methanol. Competitors will be able to purchase the competition fuel at cost for practice purposes. See the separate Fuel Order Form. Non-Standard Fuel As per ABR B.5.6, the organizers will make available at cost ingredients for non-standard fuel. See the separate Fuel Order Form for details of the ingredients, quantities and cost. Standard practice fuel and non-standard fuel must be ordered and paid for by the date shown on the Fuel Order Form. 28. SIGHTSEEING TRIP

INSURANCE EU Citizens must bring European Health Insurance Card EWIC card issued by their social security system, in order to be covered by the Polish health system. The Organizers will provide the third party insurance coverage for all pilots for model accidents involving injury to others and damage to property according to Polish legislation. The Organizers are not responsible for any other kind of injury, loss, theft or damage to people or property. 31. SPECTATORS & MEDIA The Organizers provide convenient access to the spectators & the media a watching the competition.
