Interfaith Hospitality NetworkThe mission of Interfaith Hospitality Network is to provide homeless families emergency shelter and hospitality through interfaith communities and to work with families to find and retain stable housing. Four times per year IHM combines efforts with St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church to host homeless families for a one week stay at the Comboni Mission Center. Volunteers prepare a place for the families to relax and sleep, prepare and serve meals, and assist in providing evening activities. Volunteers typically donate 2 to 3 hours one time during this week.
Many volunteers are needed to help these families in need. All signups are done via Sign Up Genius and in all cases you would be working with experienced volunteers that have served in the past. You can pick the day and the time and also select the task that you feel comfortable serving. For more information or to be added to the list of volunteers please contact Jim Moyer ([email protected]) or Sue Keefe ([email protected])
