Agency Disclosure Forms – Commercial Property

With the help of McClelland & Anderson, we are taking the most recently asked questions from our legal hotline and putting them in E-News. We will be featuring a differ-ent question each issue.

Question: Is it true that an agency disclosure form is not

required for commercial property?

Answer: YES. The law requires an agency disclosure

form only if the property in question includes one to four dwelling units or a residential building site. MCL 339.2517. Note that some commercial property includes residential dwelling units. Disclosure would be required for those types of properties.

bers in the newsletter.
