Why owning a Giardino Gourmet Salads is the best franchise deal in the market:

• Our salads are delicious… and it’s what people want…healthy AND delicious. We offer the greatest variety in the marketplace – over 20 different salad combinations including the ability to make your own.

• Our 5% royalty fee is gradually tiered over the first 6 months, allowing you to focus on marketing your business during the launch of your restaurant.

• We have a high sales-to-investment ratio and low development cost.

• The development is straight-forward and you can be up and running in a few months!

• Our 2% marketing fee allows for system-wide marketing initiatives and campaigns.

• In addition to our signature salads, we have product offerings that are proprietary, like our variety of croutons baked in-house and homemade deli salads.

• Our personalized service system allows us to provide fresh food that’s made-to-order right in front of our guests, in a quick and convenient manner.

• Our Board of Directors has a combined 100 years of food service experience.

• Giardino promotes personal and professional growth for entrepreneurs as evidenced by our diverse group of franchise owners.

Claudia & Miguel Sierra, Owners of Giardino Weston

Elsie Rincon Giardino Doral Established 2007 As the 2nd restaurant to open in the Giardino system, my husband and I invested into this franchise because we believed that the concept stood for more than just a fad. It was a way of life that we were instilling in our guests and their loyalty throughout the years is a testament to the quality of our product and the all-around guest experience you receive when you enter through the doors of a Giardino.

Jorge Carbajal Giardino Blue Lagoon Established 2010 I worked in (founders) Kenny & Ody’s Coral Gables restaurant for 3 years as a gardener chef and was soon promoted to manager. I was so inspired by Kenny & Ody’s story that I knew I wanted to build a restaurant of my own. With their guidance and support, I was able to open my own Giardino and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Passing on the amazing training I had received from them to train my own staff of gardener chefs, I’ve been able to run a successful business with a brand of products that I am truly proud to serve.

Jaime Mitrani Giardino South Miami & Giardino Miami Lakes Established 2011 & 2014 As someone who believes in living a healthy lifestyle, the Giardino brand and its products resonated with me from the start. My business partner, Rob, and I both left corporate jobs looking to become entrepreneurs. I’m proud to say that since we started with the franchise, Rob and I have been able to rebuild the South Miami location’s operation, establish a positive reputation for the business in the community and opened a second location in Miami Lakes. As a couple of young guys that were new to the restaurant industry, Rob and I have valued the support and guidance of the board and of other operators in making this dream a reality.

• Our founders are a husband and wife team who were formerly a fire-fighter and a teacher.

• Before settling on the name Giardino Gourmet Salads, our founders toyed with the idea of naming the restaurant “Croutons”, since one of our signature offerings are homemade baked croutons made daily.

• The first Giardino Gourmet Salads location sat only 10 guests and turned out over 20,000 salads in their inaugural year… We’ve come a long way!

• Half of our franchises are female-owned and operated.

• On average, our most loyal guests come into our restaurants 2 – 3 times a week.

• Our most popular signature salad is our Mama Mia with homemade Tropical Chicken.

• Our menu also caters to vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free and sugar-free guests.

• Just one of our restaurants bakes up to 200,000 croutons per year – that’s almost 2 million per year system-wide!

• “Giardino” literally means garden in Italian.

• With our wide variety of fresh greens, premium ingredients and proprietary products, Giardino offers 2.5 billion combinations of salads for our guests to enjoy!
