JULIE KIMBLE OPUS SOUTH CORPORATION Vice President RESPONSIBILITIES As an officer of Opus South Corporation, Ms. Kimble leads and manages all real estate development efforts in northwest Florida, Mississippi, Southern Alabama, Louisiana and Memphis, Tennessee. Ms. Kimble also manages government development projects in South Florida and in the balance of the panhandle region. EXPERIENCE Recently Ms. Kimble led the company’s development efforts in military housing privatization and prior to that held the position of Vice President, National Account Management where she managed numerous national client relationships and build to suit development projects on behalf of Opus’ largest clients throughout the U.S. In that role she completed in excess of six million square feet of build-to-suit development for national clients. She also led the national business development team and had responsibility for a number of special projects in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to her National Accounts role at Opus, she was the Vice President of Asset Management responsible for an extensive national portfolio of office, industrial and retail properties. Ms. Kimble has over 22 years of experience in real estate development and has worked for Opus since 1994. Her background includes extensive experience in the areas of real estate development, finance, and asset management. Prior to her National Accounts role at Opus, she was the Vice President of Asset Management responsible for an extensive national portfolio of office, industrial and retail properties.
Ms. Kimble has over 22 years of experience in real estate development and has worked for Opus since 1994. Her background includes extensive experience in the areas of real estate development, finance, and asset management. Prior to joining Opus, Ms. Kimble was Vice President at the St. Paul Port Authority (SPPA) for over five years. She managed a $350M existing loan portfolio, assisted in procurement, underwriting and approval of new project loans (bond-financed), and managed an extensive portfolio of REO.
Ms. Kimble successfully repositioned a number of REO projects and led the development of three new business parks. She assisted in efforts to complete development of six other business parks and managed four business parks on an ongoing operating basis.
Ms. Kimble also created and managed the small business working capital loan program and worked extensively with tax increment financing including establishment of the state’s first hazardous substance sub-district legislation.
