Parents and carers can now complete the Health Check online.
If your child is aged 0-15 years and has asthma, constipation, eczema, or
epilepsy follow the link:
www.cyphp.org/health-check
Completing the Health Check takes about 5 minutes. It will ask you about
your child’s condition and their general wellbeing.
Afterwards, you will receive a summary of your child’s results and a Health
Support Pack. This pack contains top tips on how you can support your child
to manage their condition better, and community resources you may find
useful. Your child’s summary will also be added to their health record, to
support your child's health team to better understand your child.
The information you provide will not be used for any other purposes without
your consent.
For more information about the Health Check or the Children & Young
People's Health Partnership (CYPHP) who created it, please visit
www.cyphp.org.

across London - and
you can play your
part!

Spires, which is based at Tooting Bec Gardens, provides a
lifeline to homeless, disadvantaged and vulnerable people
throughout South London who may be sleeping rough or
about to be evicted from their home. Many who visit Spires
have mental illness, others are experiencing domestic
violence, many have poor health and all are living in extreme
poverty.
Providing someone with a nutritious meal or a food parcel
has a massive impact on Spires clients, who are in desperate
situations, and need help. The draw of a hot meal means
they can reach more people, assess their needs and provide
them with the services they need, whether that’s the
chiropodist, the nurse or dentist, mental health support or
housing advice. Spires also offers free adult learning classes
to help them into employment. Together the 55-strong
volunteer and staff team work hard to create a welcoming
space for anyone in a state of need.
Your kind donations ensure that Spires is able to always
provide their clients with a hot meal, breakfast and food
parcels. Without your support they would not be able to
have the impact that they achieve with all of their clients.
Julian’s parents and carers can bring their donations along to
Festive Friday on 7th December. There will be a stall at both
sites where you can leave items.
Spires is looking for donations of food (e.g. porridge oats/
coffee/tea/tinned meats/biscuits) toiletries (e.g. razors,
combs, toothpaste) and clothing (e.g. warm coats and
jumpers for both men and women).
These are just a few of the items on Spires list. An extensive
list is on display on the school noticeboards.
Thank you for your support.
Together we raised £424
for the National
Children’s Bureau during
anti-bullying week.
A big thank you to all the
pupils who bought
wristbands!
