Brand relaunchBuilding a new profilefor a new era

…to thisFrom this…

We have sought to modernise the brand of Judo Victoria Inc. and bring it inline with 2015 sports

marketing standards…

…enabling us to further deepen and leverage relationships with professional sporting bodies and

major corporate organisations

The symbol is sufficiently gender neutral

The Head and inner V shape provide a nod to the VIS logo

Overlapping ribbon provides a nod to the AIS logo

J shape subtly creates a link back to the

Japanese heritage without being overtly

or stereotypically Asian

V ribbons pays homage to the JudoGi lapels

The VIC abbrecivation is offset from Judo typeface – we are both representatives of the sport and of our state

The brandmark aims to take a modern and professional abstraction on the representation of a judoka

V shape is iconic in Victorian sport and something all players across all sports

aspire to play under

01. Primary lockup

02. Horizontal lockup 03. Vertical lockup

04. Stamp

The new brandmarkprovides flexibility…

Example mat screenprint Example team branding

The new brandmark will be deployed across all of our assets…
