+The Roadmap of Your Life… We will be creating Roadmaps that tell who you are and where you

want to be in the future. You may draw pictures, use words, or cut out pictures from magazines to help you. Using the rubric, be creative and truly demonstrate who you are! Be prepared to share.

Include the following:About you now:• In which school subjects do you want to excel?• In which subjects do you want to improve the most?• In what activities are you involved at school and/or in the community?• Who are two people to whom you can talk about what you want to do in the future?

(both cannot be parents)• What are you considering doing after you graduate from high school?

About your future:• Where do you want to live? (state, region, and city)• In what size town/city do you want to live?• What would be your ideal work schedule? (Nights, M-F, weekends, days, etc.)• Which working environment do you prefer? (indoors, outdoors, etc.)• For whom do you want to work? ( a company, the government, yourself, etc.)• How much money do you expect to make?• In which career area or areas do you want to work? (business, teaching, construction,

etc.)

Will she help me when I give up?Yes! Ms. Popp will never let you give up! If you feel like you need a little extra push, come to lunch, stay after school, email her, or call her!

What was college like for Ms. Popp?College was really fun! Ms. Popp was secretary of her class, which gave her a lot of responsibility. She was also a debate coach!
