The Kawasaki mega solar power plants are jointly operated by Kawasaki City and Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO). The power output of Ukishima and Ogishima plants totals approximately 20,000 kW. The two plants, starting operation in 2011, are the pioneers of mega solar plants in Japan. You can get a nice view of the Ukishima Solar Power Plant from the observation deck next to the Mirai-kan.
