Step 2

Create character #1

•Describe this person in one sentence.

Step 3

Create character #2

•Describe this person in one sentence.

Step 4-

• One of the characters wants something. Describe what it is.

Step 5

• Write 6 exchanges of dialogue between character 1 and 2.

Step 6

• Have one of your characters report a new piece of information unknown to the other character.

Step 7

• Insert a stage direction. Something has to happen or an action needs to occur. Ex: Phone rings

Step 8-

• Write 2 exchanges of dialogue continuing the scene.

Step 9

• End the scene: Lights out. Fade to black. Black out.
