The engraving below shows a guard for a hip light. These we also furnish for flat or hip lights or any shape desired. The general meshes are 1 inch, 1*4 inch or 1in. Occasionally *4 inch and % inch are used where it is desired to prevent pebbles, etc., from breaking the glass. The wire mesh guard shown in the lower section of the pipe hand rail is intended to prevent persons slipping through the lower opening. This guard is required around walkways and near fast moving machinery.

Engraving No. 62

This guard is intended for use on top of elevator freight car to prevent articles dropping from the various floors and injuring the operator or passengers. A section of this guard can be made movable to allow the carrying of long material.
