Jose Pineiro Started His Professional Journey with The

Apollo Group in 1988

Jose Pineiro is a Miami based professional who is well-versed in developing software applications, technological improvements, database design, and system analysis areas. He has been working with a renowned hotel, food and beverage services organization The Apollo Group for more than 25 years. At this group, he handled a variety of roles to the best of his abilities, and gained knowledge and experience in all kinds of software development technologies.

He became a part of the group in 1988 when he joined Apollo Ship Chandler. Initially, he started serving as a Software Developer, and was promoted to management level positions owing to his dedication and hard work.

While serving as an IT Manager, he played a key role in the implementation of a new HR system, and also led a team of developers. After that, Jose Pineiro was promoted to the Director of Information & Technology for all Apollo companies. Responsibilities included development and maintenance of software applications such as order processing, HR system, etc.

He is a Bachelor of Computer Science degree holder. He has strong knowledge of software development, project management, and all that. His technical skills include Microsoft Windows and web technologies like FoxPro, SQL Server 2000-2012, VBScripts, RPG and COBOL, CSS, J Query, Java Script, ASP, HTML, DHTML, C#, XML, VB.Net, and Visual Studio 2003-2012.

In addition, he also has good knowledge of Microsoft operating system and office tools like Windows Servers 2000-2012, Exchange Server, Windows Desk OS. Office Access, Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio and Project, mobile and cloud based devices and applications.

Jose Pineiro of Miami believes living life to the fullest, and enjoys a variety of fun activities like boating, fishing, scuba diving, jogging. In his free time, he likes reading technology books.
