Methodology - Jordi Pla Studio

The working process of the studio needs several stages to create successful projects for our clients. For this reason we created a basic structure to obtain all the feedback necessary to ensure that the final

products have good success for our clients. This methodology enables us to live the experience of our client, understand their identity

and establish an effective communication that allows evolution the project with all guarantees.

This is the basic structure of how we conduct our projects. We can readapt it to each client to focus on his necessities and to agree with his confidentiality rules.

Step 1. Live the costumer experience.

This point is essential for having a deeper understanding of the know how of our client and what they represent.

It’s indispensable to visit the factory and see how production is managed. To know the techniques and resources, interact with existing know-how, meet the people and

percept well the structure.

Step 2. Generation of concepts.

After this first experience of understanding the client and having the brief with the marketing department we can start to create some ideas.

We suit different business directions from Heritage collections Commercial collections, Limited Edition to B2B...etc.

On this second step we organize a meeting and present functional and innovative concepts to guage feedback with the client intermediately.

On this presentation client tendences and sketches, virtual and precise model representations functional moockups, general dimensions will be shown.

Step 3. Development and follow up.

When the client decides on a final proposal, we develop it independently or parallel with his technical department.

We generate, final 3d models, complete and exhaustive technical report that contains generals dimensions

dimensions of each piece, materials, industrial process and finished. Final and functional prototype.

Once submitted all the documentation we follow and support the client until the product comes to the market.
