Winter 2017-2018 HIGHLIGHTS District Church of the Nazarene Joplin Let me introduce you to our core values, if you have not heard them 1. To seek and save the lost by any method, at any cost. We will continue to do whatever it takes to help people know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Planting churches, outreach events, bridge events, using our evangelism trailers, teaching personal evangelism, preaching evangelistic message, whatever it takes to help people know Jesus. 2. Lead Now, Lead Next—This is all about leadership development. If we dont develop leaders now for then, when we get to the thenwe will have no prepared leaders. This will be done in at least 2 ways: A. L 2 is a 3rd Tuesday of the month broadcast that is a teaching about leadership principles. It begins at 6:00 pm on a monthly basis. A link is sent to pastors each month so they can participate. B. Quatro is a quarterly meeting held by our Mission Area Coordinators. It will consist of prayer and praise; a book study; and a video lesson taught by one of our MAC leaders 3. Better Together– When one person joins a worship with many and join a church we find we do not walk the journey alone. When churches come together and mobilize as a district then together we are stronger and better. Then when districts come together, we form a denomination whose sole desire is to push the gates of Hell back. I invite you to join us as together we form a movement for God that will change our communities, our areas, and our world! In His Service, Rev. Phil Rhoades

Winter 2017-2018 HIGHLIGHTS

District Church of the Nazarene Joplin

Let me introduce you to our core values, if you have not heard them

If we don’t develop leaders now for then, when we get to the “then” we will have no prepared leaders. This will be done in at least 2 ways:

A. L2 is a 3rd Tuesday of the month broadcast that is a teaching about leadership

principles. It begins at 6:00 pm on a monthly basis. A link is sent to pastors each month so they can participate.

B. Quatro is a quarterly meeting held by our Mission Area Coordinators. It will consist of prayer and praise; a book study; and a video lesson taught by one of our MAC leaders

In His Service,

Rev. Phil Rhoades
