PORK INDUSTRY BLIND SPOT
“So while agriculture sits nestled in the warmth of its scientific bunker, distracted and infuriated by HSUS' arguments based on emotion, HSUS suddenly flanks and moves to the high ground of morality.
• Kevin Murphy- truthinfood.com
“If they’re not slaves, then what are they? Free?
If you’re not deeply disturbed by the footage of two women rubbing and fondling restrained female pigs in order to enlarge the pigs’ vaginal openings and force semen into them, imagine that the pigs are restrained women who have no say in what is being done to their bodies. What makes it right to sexually violate other animals if it’s wrong to sexually violate other humans?”

A Nations Moral Dilemma
(National US breeding herd 5.7M sows)
1 pig = 500, ¼ lb meals
1 Less PSY =
2,850,000,000 less meals
THE PARADOX
Mandates for expedited timelines for perceived animal welfare gains may actually cause fatal unintended
consequences for the pig.
This may be a tactic by activists exploit the animal and question the ethical and moral validity of animal
agriculture altogether.
