DETAILED ITINERARY Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu (1400m.)Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted and welcomed by our representative at the airport and then s/he will transmit you to hotel. For a short time you will be described about your tour and check in to the Hotel. Rest of the day is all yours and overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu SightseeingToday, we will organize sightseeing program around Kathmandu Valley. After breakfast, you will have a sightseeing trip to Boudhanath Stupa, the second biggest stupa in the world. Also, you will visit around Swayambhunath Stupa which is also known as ‘Monkey Temple’ and observe attractive view of Kathmandu valley. Pashupatinath temple, famous Hindus temple is another spot to explore. And, going around Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square will be worthy one since these are renowned places for art and architecture and are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage List.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Pokhara (910m.)After breakfast, we go away from Kathmandu and we move to Pokhara driving for 6 hours by tourist bus, or private car or bus depending upon the size of your group. You will be passing through interesting vista of river and landscape. Otherwise, you may fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu which takes only half an hour. Then, you will sign in to the Hotel and you have free afternoon on your own. You can go around lakeside area or you can do boating at Fewa Lake and overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Pokhara - Jomsom - Kagbeni (2850m.)We today depart from Pokhara, take a morning flight to Jomsom, the headquarters of Mustang district. We arrive at Jomsom village after passing the Kaligandaki River Bridge after that we will be trekking for about 3 hours beside the bank of Kaligandaki and get to Ekley Bhatti village. Subsequently, we trek one more hour to reach Kagbeni which is located at the bank of two rivers Kaligandaki and Nilgiri.

Day 05: Kagbeni - Muktinath (3,817m.)

Moving from Kagbeni to reach Muktinath, we mount steeply to an altitude of 3880m. This is one of the most important pilgrimage places of interest for Hindus. Sanctified water flows from the 108 taps and you can also see the pagoda style temple of Lord Vishnu. Muktinath is also residence to a lot of tribal Tibetans and holy Buddhists, who come here for visiting the temple.

Day 06: Muktinath - Jomsom (2,709 m.)The trail from Muktinath today moves down to the valley for more than 1,525 m below and there is spectacular barren scenery, which moves on to Jomsom. The Kaligandaki trade route is a major and active village.

Day 07: Jomsom - Larjung (2,522 m.)Moving from Jomsom, we today trek to Larjung. And, it takes 5 to 6 hours for trekking this day. The valley is conquered by Thakalis amusingly related to Gurung and Magars of the Lutheran slopes.

Day 08: Larjung – Ghasa (2,522 m.)Moving further ahead from Larjung you will witness a spectacular change of plant life since land is dry, infertile, deserted. We can see pine and confer forest while walking between Annapurna areas. And while coming across Kalopani, you will see the splendid views of Annapurna range. In total, we today trek for 5 to 6 hours and tonight we stay at Ghasa.

Day 09: Ghasa - Tatopani (1,189 m.)Progressively as we move down from Ghasa today to Tatopani, treks come into valleys and grasslands; the striking Rupse Chhahara (waterfall) and leaving it behind we reach Dana village. Then, we have 3 hours trouble-free walk to Tatopani all the way through the Kaligandaki river coast. Stay overnight in Tatopani.

Day 10: Tatopani - Ghorepani (2,855 m.)Today, we leave Tatopani to reach Ghorepani steadily climbing all day; we eventually go away from the terraced fields and pass through thick rhododendron forest to the village of Ghorepani. We camp at the pass for the greatest views of the sunset above the amazing, snow-capped Annapurna Range and Dhaulagiri.

Day 11: Ghorepani - Poon Hill – GhorepaniWaking up early morning, today we trek to Poon Hill (3195m.). Poon hill is the spot where you can take pleasure in with mesmerizing peak views and beautiful sunrise view. Subsequently, after trekking down to Ghorepani for an hour, you will have your breakfast then rest of day at your own.

Day 12: Ghorepani - Tikhedhunga (1,577 m.)On this day, from Ghorepani you move downward to Tikhedhunga. In Tikhedhunga, you can see mules loaded with goods. You have to trek for 5 to 6 hours. Tonight at Tikhedhunga.

Day 13: Tikhedhunga - Pokhara From Tikhedhunga, you will trek down for 5 hours to reach Nayapul which literally means New Bridge. And, then drive back to Pokhara. Stay overnight in Pokhara at hotel.

Day 14: Pokhara – KathmanduWe return back to Kathmandu either taking flight or drive from Pokhara which takes 7 to 8 hours and 35 minutes from flight. Rest of the day in Kathmandu and you can have shopping. On arrival at Kathmandu you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 15: Departure international from Kathmandu Today you depart from this wonderful Himalayan country, Nepal. Hope to see you again.

CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENTSCertain basic trekking equipment is essential on all routes we described in this site. Depending on the area and season, we will provide you with a comprehensive list of necessities. Here is some recommended Equipments List for trekking in Nepal.

CLOTHING1. BOOTSLightweight walking boots. If new one is being bought, “walk then in” to avoid blisters. Also bring spare laces.

2. TRACK SHOESA pair of track shoes. To wear in the camp at night or when the boot is wet.

3. JACKETWarm jacket. Fiber fills or down should be adequate. This is especially necessary during winter from December to February. A rainproof jacket with hood or a poncho. Get the one that is guaranteed waterproof.

4. SHIRT AND SWEATERSWoolen shirts and thick sweaters. During winter months, December through February these items are essential. Thick sweaters can be purchased in Kathmandu. 1 lightweight long sleeved -shirt is particularly suitable for avoiding sun burn.

5. TROUSERSA pair of lightweight/ heavy weight trousers. Jeans are unsuitable to wear on treks. Cheap loose cotton pants are available in Kathmandu. Heavyweight trousers are useful higher up in the mountains in the morning and at night. Windproof/ waterproof trousers are necessary on all treks going above 10.00ft.

6. UNDERWEARThermal underwear. These are excellent to sleep in at night in the winter months thermal underwear are quite invaluable.

7. TRACKSUITA tracksuit useful for wearing in camp and in the tent. 2 pair of loose fitting long shorts/ skirts.

8. SLEEPING BAGAs you do not carry it yourself this may be synthetic or down, but it must be 4 season. As most treks pass through a variety of climatic conditions, a long zip is a good idea. A cotton/fleece liner helps keep your sleeping bag clean. Good sleeping bags are expensive but can be rented easily in Kathmandu (Only for treks starting and finishing there)

9. SUN HAT, SUNCREAM/BLOCK & LIP SALVEChoose a high factor suncream (Factor 20 or stronger) to protect your skin against the sun at high altitude. A combination sunblock/lip salve is ideal for facial protection.

10. PERSONAL FIRST AID KITYou should have your own supply of plasters, aspirin, diarrhea tablets and also a comprehensive blister kit. (Please do not give medicines to local people without consulting the trek leader.)

11. HAT/ GLOVE/ SANDLE/ SHOCKS/ UNDERWEARa) A woolen hat to wear in the morning and at night. During winter it is an essential item.b) A sunhat and ensure it has a wide brim to cover the face and neck.

b) A pair of gloves. Leather with lining and woolen are best. c) 1 pair of sandals to wear in the cities and in camp.d) 4 pairs of thin and 4 pair of thick woolen socks.e) Underwear” normal quantity and swimming costume, hankies.Equipments and Accessoriesa) Duffle bag or kit bag to carry to gear while trekkingb) Daypack: This is a small rucksack to carry personal requirement for the day e.g. toilet items, camera, film towel, soap, a boot etc.c) Water bottle.d) Snow glasses and sunglassese) 2-4 large plastic bags to separate clean clothes from dirty ones.f) 6 -10 smaller plastic bags to dispose garbage.g) Wallet and /or money belt with compartment for coins.h) Toiletries with large and small towels. Toilet paper can buy in Kathmandu and some villages in the mountains.i) Small headlamp and/ or torch with spare batteries and bulbsj) candles and lighter to burn toilet paper.k) Snow gaiters essential during wither and all treks going over at other times.l) An umbrella (optional), which is quite useful to as a sunshade and useful when it rains.m) Reading materials, camera and film, game items (optional), note book, rubber band, pen and pencil, envelopes, a diary, a calendar, a pocket knife, binoculars (optional), a small pillow or headrest (optional). Thermoses (optional)- an inflatable sleeping mat, trekking map, adequate quantities of passport photograph.
