• Understand technical assessment, its indications and benefits, and gain an approach to differentiating typical and unusual presentations of venous incompetence.

• Understand the various treatment modalities for early and advanced venous disorders therapies.

A series of workshops and presentations will be set up for trainees to experience instruction from key leaders in different aspects of venous disease.

9:30 -10:15 Alternative treatments for saphenous incompetence Moderator: Mandy Wong Albert-Claude Benhamou, Philippe Charbit, Valerian Ciubotaru, Sammi Zerrouk Objectives: To highlight advances in alternative treatments. Participants will be able to understand the rationale (benefits/risks) for the use of conservative treatment, non-thermal and thermal ablations, surgery, and appreciate the potential impact of these therapies for various venous disorders.
