• Resource Efficiency Manager (REM)– Subject Matter Experts brought on as

consultants to assist DoD in identifying and creating energy efficiency improvement projects• Existing Facilities• New Construction• Renewable Technology

– Projects funded annually through a Air Force $250M set aside fund• Projects developed competed for funding across AF based on

Savings to Investment Ratio cost analysis• Focus funds eliminated in 2013, alternative funding sources

such as ESPC, UESC, FEMP ENABLE currently being explored

• Reduce energy use by 3% per year• Reduce potable water usage intensity by 2% per year• Reduce fuel use by 3% per year • Increase alternative fuels use by 2% per year • Install required electric, gas and water meters• Renewable Energy vs goal not required if not feasible• Energy Security (generators) is reviewed annually AFI 32-1063• Audits accomplished through AETC contract(s)• Enhance base infrastructure, facilities and quality of life• Develop innovative ways to operate & maintain facilities to
