Praise & Prayer Requests… Benjamin Powell: Benjamin had surgery on his lip and partial cleft. Please keep him, his

parents (Scott & Laura Powell) in prayer as he recovers.

Linda Embertson: Linda is doing better. She is experiencing much less pain. They

found 3 kidney stones- one in each kidney and one traveling away from a kidney. She is

on medications and back at ministry center. God is so good! Prayers are answered.

Rob Miller: Rob had quadruple by-pass surgery. The surgery went well. Please pray for

quick recovery. Rob is Cindy Butzin's father.

March for Life: Please be in prayer for the March for Life in Washington DC on Friday to

be a successful march. Please pray as well for those from our church who will be partici-

pating: Bob & Elaine Clark, Joel & Mandy Clark and family, Autumn Horton, Rita Kiser,

Sheryl Thompson, Katelyn Goodman, and Chloe West.

It’s a boy! Congratulations to Will and Amanda Pearson on the birth of their son,

Liam Henry, who was born on Thursday, January 16. All are doing well! Proud

Lake City Student Ministry Chili Cook-off: Sunday, February 9, 12pm: You are invited to the LCSM Chili Cook-off to help support

the 2020 Summer Mission Trip scholarship program! Come and place your votes in three categories: Regular, White, and Spicy.

You will receive three voting tickets and are asked to vote for your favorite in each category. If you would like to place an entry in

the Chili Cook-off, please sign up at the Information Desk. If you would like to provide chili toppings (cheese, sour cream, Fritos,

etc.), please sign-up at the Information Desk. This event is by donation. Contact David Podsaid at David@lakecitycrc.org.

Student Ministry Babysitting Night: Friday, February 14, 5—9pm: Bring your little sweethearts for a special Valentines Day party at the Rock! The Lake City Youth will treat your infant to 5th graders to a fun night of dinner, crafts, games and movies. (We won't tell them that you get a special night, too!) The party begins at 5pm with sloppy joes served at 5:30pm, and it all concludes at 9pm. Donations will be used to support the youth summer mission trip to New Mexico. Lake City Student Ministry Summer Mission Trip: Applications for the 2020 LCSM Summer Mission Trip to New Mexico are now

available. For interested students, applications are available from David Podsaid or the church office. Application deadline is Sun-

day, February 2, for scholarship opportunities; Sunday, March 1, for all others.

Shepherding Network: We are in need of two Care Contacts for our Shepherding Network. Care Contacts reach out to a group of

10-12 people to establish a relationship with them and to pray for them. If this is something you feel the Lord is calling you to,

please reach out to one of the Elders, Deacons or contact the church office at office@lakecitycrc.org.

Serving Opportunities with Worship Team Ministry: Looking for a few individuals who are interested in serving in the sound

booth on Sunday mornings to help with the live stream video. Training would be provided. Schedule would be rotating depending

on the number of volunteers. Also needed are a couple of individuals interested in helping on a rotating schedule with the Sunday

morning powerpoint screens/presentations. Contact Wendy Vrieze at wendy@lakecitycrc.org.

From Mike & Missie Anscomb: Just wanted to let you know that we made it safely to England on January 9th. Ministry is going well. We are working alongside of the YWAM Cornwall base in Cornwall, England. We are serving several local churches and min-istries. One church in particular, that we are working with is Bethel. This is a congregation of which 90% suffer from depression and/or mental illness. We are trusting the Lord for great things as we welcome His presence through worship and walk in obedi-ence to His voice. Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We love all of you. (There will be a white envelope offering for Mike and Missie Anscomb on Sunday, February 16)

Crystal Pendergrass: Please keep Crystal Pendergrass in your prayers as she heads to Asia on a short-term mission trip from Janu-ary 27 to February 17, continuing her work with Campus Target. Please pray for her safety, her health (specifically protection as she has serious food allergies), and that her time with the missionaries would be encouraging to their hearts and spirits as they seek the Lord together. You can feast with friends old and new as your donations al-low the NMCS Juniors to raise money to offset the cost of the building supplies they’ll need for the projects we’ll be working on in the D.R.
