Message from Deacon John
Has Easter made a difference in our lives? The Lord is Risen! Alleluia! Every Easter we proudly proclaim that the Lord is risen, that Jesus is alive. But do we stop and reflect on what that means for ourselves? If our way of life before Easter is the same as it is after Easter then something is missing. The Gospels tell us that for the disciples, life was changed. They went from living in fear after the death of Jesus to proudly being witnesses of the risen Jesus. Easter should also be a time for us when our faith takes on a renewed energy and we are encouraged anew to witness to our faith. A faith that influences the deci-sions we make in our life and in our interactions with family members, neighbours and all we meet in our day to day lives. Something to think about as we answer the call of Jesus to “Follow me”. In Peace, Deacon John.

The Norfolk Pregnancy Centre (NPC) is a faith based not for profit outreach ministry serving Norfolk County. NPC offer a safe place of hope and healing for women, for men and their families facing crisis pregnancies, crisis parenting and related concerns such as poverty, mental health issues, additions and more. NPC staff and volunteers are dedicated to saving lives and building homes of honor in our community. It is easy to participate! Just pick up a bottle and fill it with coins, cash or a cheque. Return the bottle Father's Day and know that your giving is making a positive difference for women, for men, ….. for families right here in Norfolk County.
