Wellness Now, started in April of 2010, is a community-led coalition of individuals and organizations who share a vision to improve the health and wellness of Oklahoma City and County. Over the past 5 years, the coalition has been instrumental in leveraging resources to improve health outcomes.

OKLaHOMa HEaLtHAccording to the America’s Health Rankings, Oklahoma ranks 46th nationally in overall health. Some of the primary factors impacting Oklahoma’s low national rankings include:

Tobacco Use • Poor Diet • Lack of Exercise • Mental Health and Substance Abuse Issues

The Oklahoma City-County Health Department and Wellness Now Coalition are working hard to tackle these challenges; the coalition is has a wealth of partners and resources including locally elected offi cials, prominent business leaders, local foundations, and other health and social service entities throughout Oklahoma City and County collectively working towards community health improvement goals and objectives.
