Join HACC’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program Today! This 220-hour program teaches entry-level skills to provide basic pre-hospital emergency care and function as an EMT. The program covers the following, in accordance with the National Emergency Medical Safety (EMS) Education Standards:

• Anatomy and physiology

• Assessment of injuries and illnesses (medical and trauma)

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED)

• Environmental, geriatric and pediatric emergencies

• Lifting, moving and transportation of patients
