Comics have always been awesome, but somewhere along the way, over the years, we lost our way.  Adults hijacked heroes for shock value, innuendo, and

profit and made them darker, ultra-violent, political, and too ‘adult!’

What if we could hit the “reset button” and start things off again- bring back the era of the heroes with integrity?

We're doing that, but this time we’re starting off the universe right with a more diverse lineup of characters, to better reflect all the young heroes out there

who love to read and be inspired by comics!

Golden Kid Comics takes classic, forgotten heroes of yesteryear, sprinkles in some new original heroes and villains, and gives them all a fun,

modern twist to create all-new adventures for all-ages!

The place is New York City. The time is 1943.

The war against one of the greatest evils ever known to mankind has finally

begun to shift in favor of the United States and its allies overseas.

But axis forces within America’s borders plot

to hinder the war effort!

We’ll take out the ports here, here, and here!

Our efforts today will

severely cripple the Americans—

What is this?

The jig is up you nazi rats!

We’re here to snuff out you and

your nefarious deeds!

The forces of good and decency rained down swiftly on the enemy agents!

They included Jupiter, the Master Magician, and the Liberator!

NEIN! NEIN!

Ahhh! I was gonna give ‘em my one-two punch!

As well as Tom Boy and the Arrow!

Here’s where all those ballet lessons I hated finally come in handy!

Guns can be dangerous! Get

the point?!

And the Flame and Captain Time!

Come on, Cap! We got these buzzards on the

run!

Cap?

No…that can’t happen…it mustn’t happen!

Sensing Captain Time is distracted, an enemy agent

fires at him!

Cap!

But then, Captain Time acts!

What the—?!

Everyone is frozen! How is this possible?

I did it! I stopped time for

the moment!

Cap, you better start explaining!

Something terrible is going to happen, Flame! The future is

doomed!

I had a vision! And I know that

only you can save the world!

Me?!

Flame, I can’t fully explain it! All I

can ask is that you trust me!

Will you, old friend?!

I…I…

Yes. I trust you! What do I need to do, Cap?

Simple!

FOLLOW ME!

Take a leap of faith!

The Flame says a silent prayer, takes a

deep breath--

The flame is taken aback for a moment as his friend, captain time, leaps into

the vortex in front of him.

--And then follows his friend!-NIMO!

GERO-

Cap? Where are we?The question

isn’t where are we, Flame!

The question is

when are we!

And the answer is 2019!

The Flame is stunned as he beholds the modern world!

Oh, my goodness! You…you weren’t kidding!

We’re…we’re…

In 2019! Yes! This is where you need to be when the great evil

comes!

But…how long will we be here?!

You will be here for as long as it takes, Flame!

Here! You’ll need this!

What is it?

It’s called a Genetically Enhanced Network Interlink!

G.E.N.I. for short! It will help

you navigate this time period!

Hello, Flame! I

look forward to

working with you!

It’s female? No, it’s a machine, just

programmed to sound like a

woman!I may not be a woman, but that doesn’t mean

I’m not a lady!

Hmph!

Flame, I’m going to need all the money you

have on you! Sure. But why?

G.E.N.I. will explain anything else

you need to know!

Right now, I need to be elsewhere!

Cap! Stop!

The flame is stunned to be stranded in 2018 and left confused by the departure of his friend.

He...he deserted me

here!

I’m all alone in 2018!

The captain left you in good hands!

Hey! Don’t forget about me!

Okay! So why don’t you tell me what I’m

supposed to do for money?!

The captain took care of that with the two dollars

you gave him!

He had to go back to 1943 to take care of

some other business!

Great! Do i have enough for a cup of coffee at least?!

Checking your funds now...

As of this moment, you currently have

Huh! Looks like I’ll be having pie with my coffee!

While there, he began to grow your money via stock

investments and compound interest!

So, money is no problem! But

where do I go in this year?

May I suggest your apartment?

It was rent-controlled, and the

Captain ensured it stayed in your name these past 75 years.

I still have my old apartment! That’s

great!

I can get some rest and plan my next—

That was a

gunshot!

It came from this building!

Holy Hannah! It’s a stick-up! Some things never change, do

they?

Do you intend to

intervene?

You better believe it! It doesn’t matter if it’s 1943 or

2019!

The flame is ever-ready to shine the

light of justice!

Meanwhile, back in 1943...

Epilogue

That should do it!

Now...“...let’s start time again!”

That’s the last of these saboteurs!

Hey! Where’s

the flame?

And cap!

They’re both gone!

Huh! It’s not like them to

duck out on a fight!

They didn’t desert us, my

friends!Our

associates are not in this era! I

sense they...

Jupiter!

Arrrrgggh!

There’s much to do for the sake of the

future!

But there is a stray in the

past that worries me!

Just as Jupiter is about to reveal what happened to the flame and captain time, the master magician falls to

the floor!What’s

wrong?!Is he hurt?!

Jupiter’s friends rush to his aid unaware that they are being

watched from the rafters by a being of alien origin!

It is this being that has paralyzed Jupiter, so he can not reveal the flame has journeyed

to the future!

Meanwhile, an equally sinister human figure watches from

the shadows.

Those saps are so worried

about their buddy, they’ll never see me

slip away!

And i still got the money the Germans paid me for the explosives and the plans

to the port!

Oh, what a lucky day

for me!

Let the do-Gooders have their win!

I’ll escape to fight another day!

And in the end, the great and

powerfulIron jaw will crush all

the crimefighters in this town!
