Johannes Kepler’s Childhood

Johannes Kepler was born on December-27-1571 and in a small town called Weil der Stadt in Swabia in Southwest Germany. He also had 6 other siblings , but 3 died at an early age. When Johannes was born him and his family became very poor. In 1576 him and his family moved to Leonberg.

Johannes was born prematurely and was a weak and sickly child. He also impressed travelers at his grandfathers inn with his phenomenal mathematic faculty. In 1577 he got to see the great comet! When he was 9 he observed the lunar eclipse of 1580! Unfortunately he suffered smallpox as a kid which gave him crippled hands, weak vision.
