CANNING CITY CENTRE IS A STRATEGIC METROPOLITAN CENTRE WITH A NETWORK OF REGIONAL TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS AND EASY ACCESS TO MAJOR ROAD, RAIL AND AIR TRANSPORT ROUTES.

The City of Canning has committed to creating a vibrant city centre – we say Perth’s Southern CBD. We will achieve this through the implementation of a robust environmental, social and economic platform.

The Canning City Centre Regeneration Program is a Council endorsed 10 year program of public amenity improvements. The first three phases will:

• attract quality development and investment

• improve lifestyle, employment, recreational and entertainment opportunities in Perth’s middle ring and the fast-growing south-east corridor.

The bottom line is that over the expected 30 year lifespan of the project we will create jobs, homes and increased urban amenity for up to 25,000 new residents in the city centre.
