JobAdvisor.com.au acquired by The Search Party

• Deal enables JobAdvisor to expand growing service to the global market • The team behind JobAdvisor to focus on new culture improvement app, JobVibe

Tuesday, 7th July 2015: JobAdvisor (www.jobadvisor.com.au), the leading culture matching platform featuring over 15,000 listed employers across Australia, has been acquired by recruitment marketplace, The Search Party (www.thesearchparty.com). Founded in 2012 by former recruitment executive Justin Babet, JobAdvisor provides an independent platform that connects employers and prospective talent. The site uses online feedback and rich media to reveal what a company is truly like to work for, attracting approximately 100,000 visits per month. The deal means further domestic growth and international expansion for the JobAdvisor brand, with the founding JobAdvisor team to focus on JobVibe – a new mobile culture improvement app. “A big part of the attraction for us with The Search Party is their global reach,” said CEO Justin Babet. “We want to see JobAdvisor as a major force on a global scale and Ben (Hutt) and his team are uniquely positioned to make that happen.” “We also chose this path so we could concentrate on JobVibe, a product that was born out of our work with JobAdvisor and our passion for creating transparent, happy and productive workplaces.” JobVibe (www.jobvibe.me) is a mobile app that helps teams continuously measure and improve their culture, creating happier people and more productive teams. The funds received from the sale of JobAdvisor will help to further grow JobVibe, which is already being used by a number of high profile companies both locally and internationally. “We’re excited about being able to work on a product that helps teams work better together,” said Babet. “As we’ve already seen strong levels of interest in JobVibe, it was logical for us to shift our focus; these funds mean we now have a great opportunity to further develop JobVibe including growing our team here and overseas.”
