Safety Compliance

All ATS staff who work in airside locations are required to comply fully with all published procedures (ATS Ops Manual ) (CAAFI regulations) (AFL rules) with regard to safe practices in relation to equipment and the operation there-of. A demonstrated understanding of reporting requirements is a prerequisite to any individual tasked with duties in this area. Security

Aviation Security is paramount in Commercial Aviation and all staff employed by ATS must be vetted prior to being issued with ASIC badged. All staff are required to comply with all Safety requirements as detailed in the OHS section of the (Operations Manual). Further while operating in controlled areas, any individual not suitably “badged” and attired must be challenged to produce requisite Identification. Persons not suitably attired to work in proximity to aircraft must be challenged and Duty Management informed immediately. Dangerous Goods All department staff must be trained and have been certified in the IATA Dangerous Goods course for Passenger Service Agents. Regular Audits to check for understanding and compliance are a embedded in the Departments culture.
