Producer/Director

Roles and responsibilities: They look out for people. The producer will manage what is going on. The film director is a person who directs the making of a film. Generally, a film director controls a film's creative and dramatic features.

1. Qualities needed: On the other side a producer looks after the business of a production, leaving the director and team to focus on the creative work so you need to persuade people and know what they are talking about. A director needs to have good flavour, they need to be prepared and demanding ordering the actors/people on set what to do.

Series Producer

Roles and responsibilities: The primary role of a television producer is to direct all aspects of video production. Some producers take more of an executive role, in that they consider new programs and pitch them to the television networks, but upon acceptance they focus on business matters.

Qualities needed: They need to have creativity and an understanding of the business side of the media world.

Researcher

Roles and responsibilities: As a media researcher you support producers by finding the info, people and places needed for television or radio station.

Qualities needed: The qualities needed for the researcher would have to be that they need to stay prepared and up to date with what's going on.

Make-up designer

Roles and responsibilities: with the make up designer they make sure the actors look like what the directors want them to look like. So the make –up designer will make sure the actors look good for there part.

Qualities needed: The qualities needed for a make –up designer would have to be if there artistic or not.

Production co-ordinator TV

Roles and responsibilities: Production Coordinators support the production managers or production supervisors in organizing the business, finance and employment issues in film and television productions. The work is varied and each project may be different. In general a Production Coordinator will help to make sure that everything runs smoothly during filming and that the project stays within budget and on schedule.

Qualities needed: They need to be very organised they also have a business mind as they have to sort out the business stuff and they also need to sort out the finance and employment issues.

Runner

Roles and responsibilities: The runner is the person that is basically the actors supervisor as they will tell the actor when they need to be in make –up or if the actor wants something the runner will get it.

Qualities needed: You need to be organised to be on top of every thing.

Script executive

Roles and responsibilities: The role of the Executive Producer is to oversee the work of the producer on behalf of the studio, the financiers or the distributors. They will ensure the film is completed on time and within budget, and to agreed artistic and technical standards. An Executive Producer may be a producer who has raised a significant proportion of a film's finance.

Qualities needed: they will have to organised and keep on the budget.

Multi camera director

Roles and responsibilities: Multi-camera shoots are commonly used for sports and news programmes, soap operas, talk shows, game shows, some sitcoms and live events where action cannot be repeated or replicated. These may be studio or location based

Qualities needed: The qualities needed is to be able to multi task.
