JOB DESCRIPTION - Acts as the SBG quality representative on site towards the customer - Has the authority over the quality responsible of the contractors - Presents the requirements of the Site Quality Plan to all parties involved in site works - Records the list of persons who attend to the presentation of the requirements of the Site Quality Plan - Reviews and interprets the technical documents after consultation, review and approval by the customer - Answers the inquiries from the contractor in order to solve technical problems encountered during the performance of work after consultation, review and approval by customer - Ensures that the Site Quality Plan is implemented - Ensures that the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) are applied by the contractor and its subcontractors, including the compliance with the hold and check points - Informs the customer before the beginning of any activity identified with a hold point, as per the quality requirements stated in the contract - Issues nonconformity reports and ensures follow-up up to the closing of the nonconformity - Stops any ongoing site activities that do not comply with the requirements of the applicable ITP - Reviews the inspection reports submitted by the contractor. - Ensures that the measuring equipment used by the contractor or its subcontractors are calibrated as per applicable standard requirements - Approves the calibration logbook of the measuring equipment used on site - Ensures that all quality documents and records relating to civil works, installation, electrical testing and commissioning are maintained - Retains, in conjunction with the contractor, all quality documents relating to site works - Issues a list of deficiencies relating to site works and ensures follow-up until their complete resolution - Participates in the site meetings related to the quality component - Reports the major deficiencies of the contractor to the SBG Quality Manager - Participates, along with the SBG Quality Manager, in site quality audits - Reviews, records and sends to SBG or the engineering firm, any Request For Information (RFI), Request For Modification (RFM) and Request For Deviation (RFD) prepared by the SBG site personnel, the customer or the contractor, and ensures that they are handled properly - Maintains the logbook of RFI, RFM, RFD and nonconformities - Provides the NCR logbook to the customer on a monthly basis - Maintains a logbook related to shop drawings and technical data sheets - Ensures, on a regular basis and if needed, that all drawings issued for construction (IFC) are updated, taking into account the markup and the referenced RFM and RFD - Ensures that the quality documents relating to site works are maintained - Issues monthly quality report related to site works to the customer - Organizes, chairs and write up minutes of a regular quality meetings related to site works, held on site with the contractor and the customer - Provides the certificate of conformity related to site works to the customer
