Our company has provided education and training for several thousand educators, government officials and business executives in China and in the U.S. We are now working closely with the Department of Education in various cities in China to provide quality training programs for elementary, middle school and high school ESL teachers. Position Overview We are currently looking to hire qualified ESL teachers to teach a 15-day intensive ESL training course to elementary, middle school and high school teachers in Beijing, China. The work begins on July 2 nd , 2014 and ends on July 22 nd 2014. A typical work day involves 5 hours of teaching in English Listening/Speaking, Instructional Methods and Activities and U.S. Culture. In addition, trainers are required an additional hour for preparation and interaction with students after class. Responsibilities 1. Position OverviewWe are currently looking to hire qualified ESL teachers to teach a 15-day intensive ESL training course to elementary, middle school and high school teachers in Beijing, China. The work begins on July 2nd, 2014 and ends on July 22nd 2014. A typical work day involves 5 hours of teaching in English Listening/Speaking, Instructional Methods and Activities and U.S. Culture. In addition, trainers are required an additional hour for preparation and interaction with students after class.

Responsibilities

1. Planning, organizing and preparing classes, including developing detailed lesson plans. 2. Developing learning materials that support the learning objectives and planned activities3. Instructing ESL classes to groups of up to 25 students using a variety of active and engaging teaching strategies/learning activities and student assessment methods.4. Managing the classrooms eectively including maintaining good student discipline and supporting the discipline standards and rules of the department of education.5. Assisting in the provision of daily supervision of students as required or assigned6. Demonstrating sensitivity and exibility in communicating with individual students.

Respectful of the values, cultural dierences and expectations of the Chinese students and administrators. 6. ESL degree and experience preferred.

Employment Compensations 1. Round-trip airfare from Los Angeles to Beijing.2. A stipend of $2500 upon completion of the employment.3. Room and board with host family in Beijing.4. Local excursion in the City of Beijing, the Temple of Heaven, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Summer Palace (Park admission fees not included). 5. Teachers are allowed and encouraged to travel to other parts of China at the end of the training program. 6. Assistance in Visa application.
