Vitocal 200-G with ground probe

Heat from the ground:The Vitocal 200-G extracts energy from the ground with the helpof ground collectors or ground probes.The ground provides almost completely stable temperatures allthe year round, enabling the Vitocal 200-G to operate virtuallyindependently of the outside temperature. It can cover the entireheat demand of a building, even on colder days.

Design information

Installation room requirements

Wall clearances (plan view)

A Apply on-site strain relief to electrical cables/leads in case ofdistances > 80 mm

& The installation room must be dry and free from the risk of frost.& Carry out the vapour diffusion-proof thermal insulation on thebrine side of the heat pump installation in accordance with stan-dard practice to prevent condensation damage.

& Never install this equipment on wooden floors in attics to pre-vent the transmission of structure-borne vibrations.

Pipework

Never use zinc-plated/galvanised pipes for the brine circuits.

Heat transfer medium

Order the required amount of Tyfocor for the entire system.Never dilute the premixed heat transfer medium with water (min.frost protection down to –15 °C).

Drying buildings

The primary heat source (ground probe/ground collector) of theheat pump is not designed for the higher heat demand requiredfor drying buildings.Should there be a higher heat demand for drying a building, coverthat demand with the instantaneous heating water heater(accessories).

Various drying programs are programmed into the control unit.

DHW cylinder

When selecting the DHW cylinder, ensure that its indirect coil sur-face area is large enough for the purpose. For connectable output,see the DHW cylinder manufacturer's specification.

NoteWe recommend the installation of the Vitocell 100-V, type CVWDHW cylinder with 390 l capacity (for further details, see the sepa-rate datasheet).
