ANNUAL mAYEFSKY mEmORIAL LECTUREThe 32nd Annual Rabbi Isaac Mayefsky Memorial Parenting Lecture will be held this Motzei Shabbos, December 1, 2018, 8:00 pm at the Associated Talmud Torahs, (ICJA Entrance - 8233 Central Park Avenue), Skokie. The theme of this year’s lecture will be “Raising Respectful Children”
and will be presented by Rabbi Dani Staum, captivating speaker, educator and guidance counselor in New York and New Jersey and social worker specializing in parenting/family issues. Rabbi Staum, featured presenter at a Torah Umesorah parenting initiative this month, will address how to foster an atmosphere of derech eretz in our homes, how to impart values to our children, why children are at times disrespectful, and how to deal and how not to deal with our children’s disrespect in order to get them back on track. The program will provide parents with skills that can be applied to children of all ages. Admission is free. For more information, contact the Associated Talmud Torahs at 773-973-2828.
