Compact Flash Purification

Isolera

Features A compact medium pressure liquid chromatology system that enables chemist’s to easily achieve better separations, increase productivity and save valuable time

Collect fractions using dual wavelengths (200 - 400 nm) or external sensors such as refractive index or ELSD Use up to four solvents in a gradient for maximum purity and yield Advanced TLC-to-gradient feature automatically creates elution gradients and suggests cartridge and sample size

Gilson’s automated solutions for sample preparation using Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) include the single probe GX-271 ASPEC™ and 4 probe, parallel-processing, GX-274 ASPEC™.

Fundamental to Gilson’s automated Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) system is the mobile rack and positive pressure technology. The mobile rack technology allows you to automate your entire SPE and Liquid Handling processes from the initial condition to the final transfer.

Gilson’s SPE instrumentation utilises positive pressure to ensure more reproducible flow rates, more reproducible recoveries, less sample to sample contamination and higher precision.

Software:

Trilution™ LH provides an intuitive interface for creating SPE and Liquid Handling protocols / applications to condition cartridges, load the sample, wash the cartridge, elute the analyte of interest and transfer the eluent to a final sample vessel or inject it directly into an analysis system.

Use Existing Cartridges:

Compatible with the most common and widely accepted SPE cartridges and 96-well extraction plates. The GX series instruments are capable of utilising 1, 3, and 6 ml SPE cartridges

An innovative combination of anti-corrosion rotary vane pump and chemistry diaphragm pump.

Designed for bench-top freeze dryers, centrifugal evaporators and fine vacuum distillation.

Unmatched corrosion resistance and mechanical robustness for fine vacuum measurement.

Designed for applications such as:

Freeze Drying Molecular Distillation

The measurement range spans from atmospheric pressure to 1 x 10-3 mbar.

Standard Pirani sensors are commonly made from tungsten or nickel when promoted as chemistry sensors. These sensors have limited corrosion resistance at best. Similar to light bulbs, Pirani filaments are brittle and easily break.

Vacuubrand’s new Pirani sensor is made of highly corrosion resistant and mechanically robust ceramic.

Vacuum performance of a two-stage rotary vane pump Operates 3 times longer between maintenance intervals Significantly longer oil lifetime thanks to diaphragm pump Vacuum monitor to signal when the pump is due for a

Automatic Chemistry Vacuum

PC 3001 Vario

VARIO pumping units provide automatic vacuum control by precise adaptation of motor speed rather than the traditional two-point control, solenoid valve methods. They automatically identify the correct vapour pressure and continuously adapt the vacuum to parameter changes without the need for user intervention or risk of bumping or splashing.

Process times are significantly shortened by higher evaporation rates and solvent recovery.

=Traditional two-point control equals low efficiency and the need to babysit your application

Use & Care Of ElectrodesUse and Care of ElectrodesHandling—Electrodes should be rinsed between samples with distilled or deionized water and gently blotted (NEVER WIPED) dry with a labwipe.

Refillable Electrodes—When adding filling solution, fill up to, but not past, the refill hole. When measuring leave the refill hole open for proper flow through the reference junction.

Storage—Always keep your pH electrode moist by storing it in 4 M KCL solution. If 4 M KCl is not available, use a pH 4 or 7 buffer solution.

DO NOT store electrode in distilled or deionized water. After storage, if you notice white KCl crystals forming outside your electrode, simply rinse the electrode and blot dry with a lab wipe before use.

Protective Bottle— Electrodes are shipped with a protective bottle over the glass bulb. Remove the bottle before using your electrode. For long- term storage just fill the bottle with enough 4 M KCl solution to cover the glass bulb and replenish as needed to keep the bulb moist.
