JIT STUDENTS’ REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL Session: 2019-20 ANNUAL REPORT The Jhulelal Institute of Technology, Nagpur has the most active, vibrant and multi facet Student Representative Council named as, “Jhulelal Institute of Technology Students’ Representative Council” (JIT SRC). The purpose of the Students’ Representative Council is to provide programs, activities and services, which serve the curricular, co-curricular, cultural, social, recreational and educational interest of students at the University and Colleges. JIT SRC has always seeks to contribute to the development of students' leadership skills, experience, program planning and development, volunteering, and fiscal management. The JIT SRC mission is to encourage and promote the values that represent good character in all students and build responsible leaders within student’s community. The JIT SRC being one and the largest Students Body on the Campus has the responsibility of organizing, managing all the activities for the students. Some of the major activities/events & various technical & non-technical competitions that were planned and effective & successfully organised by JIT SRC for the Session of 2019-20 are: • Environment Day 2019 • International Yoga Day 2019 • Ganeshotsav 2019 • JALLOSH- Annual Cultural Fest • Gandhi Jayanti • VERVE- Techno & Fun Event for Junior College Students of nearby area. • Christmas & New Year Celebration • LOGO Competition • MAXFIE Competition • LAN Gaming Competition • SHIKHAR- National Level Tech-Fest • Vasant Panchami • Fun-to-Masti • Dance-n-Balloon Challenge • Marathi Diwas Celebration • Marathi Bhasha Promotion Week

The Jhulelal Institute of Technology, Nagpur has the most active, vibrant and multi facet Student
Representative Council named as, “Jhulelal Institute of Technology Students’ Representative Council”
(JIT SRC). The purpose of the Students’ Representative Council is to provide programs, activities and
services, which serve the curricular, co-curricular, cultural, social, recreational and educational interest of
students at the University and Colleges.
