hilarious take on the classic Alfred Hitchcock amusing thriller. THE 39 STEPS is a

Hitchcock. The difference is that all 150+ characters from the novel and movie are now
played by four actors. With special “nods” to the master of suspense himself, this
mystery becomes a murder-mystery-comedy-farce not to be missed, if you want a good
laugh for Christmas! Please note THESE performances are all at 7:30pm Thursday, Friday

ART JANUARY 19-21, 2018 / Directed by DAVID COOLIDGE
Director of the MUSIC THEATRE program at Anderson University, David Coolidge joins
THE ALLEY THEATRE as director for this season’s production of ART. Originally a
French-language play, this script made its way from the Comédie des Champs-

Tony for best play. ART is about one man, Serge, and his new “modern” and
expensive painting: a white canvas with a few white lines. His Marc and Yvan, react
strongly to his purchase. Is Serge's purchase of the painting simply a cruel joke? In
this comic and moving script, you will witness the dissection of these 3 friends’
relationships...all because of one piece of ART.
