Jiffy Green Roof substrates are RHP and RAG green roof certified, guaranteeing a very constant and high quality. The German FLL guidelines are part of the RAG Green Roof brand. These lightweight substrates for both intensive and extensive Green Roof ap-plications have proven themselves in projects around the globe, they even perform in areas which are hot and arid. The substrates have a large water buffering capacity, reducing storm water runoff and showing effective drainage of excess rain water. Due the unique combination of its characteristics these substrates are of relevance in de-creasing the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effects in cities. Plants perform at their best in Jiffy Green Roof substrates.
