amiyyatul Falah is a charitable organisation

stablished in the year 1989 at Mangalore and Udupi

Districts of the Karnataka State, India. Like minded

ndividuals have joined together to serve the under-

rivileged people of our community in the region.F was felicitated with the prestigious State

Award from the Department of Women &

Children Welfare, Karnataka, India, for the

Educational upliftment of Women and Children.

Our motto is Education is the key to Success.gnorance of this slogan has pushed our community

o a backward position. Illiteracy and poverty are the

major problems that have stricken and due to poverty

ducation is not affordable. This deprivation in turn

eaves our community economically stagnant. One

eneration has to struggle to stop this cycle.acing this situation we started Back to School

rogram, where by children of poor families who drop

ut of school for various reasons are given the

pportunity to complete their education and earn a

espectable position in the society. Even though ourmain aim is providing education to less fortunate

hildren, we also indulge in other humanitarian

ctivities like:

Management of Educational Institutions

Management of Hostel to provide

accommodation for poor students

Dropout School Programs

Scholarships to advance the education of

brilliant children

Distribution of Books, Uniforms, Stationery &Abayas to Poor Students

Channeling of Fitra, Zakath Funds and

Qurbani Meatto the needy

Medical aid for the needy through camps in

remote areas

Communal Harmony Programs

Ambulance and Mobile Clinics

Ramadan Kit Distribution

Iftar Programs

Circumcision of Poor Children

Tailoring classes for Girls

Events organised by JF Riyadh UnitJF-Riyadh is one of the overseas units, which has been

actively functioning since the inception of Jamiyyatu

Falah. It has a very enthusiastic and dedicated team o

active members, who feel the necessity to help their les

privileged brothers and sisters back home.

JF-Riyadh has organized various events like: Cricke

Tournament, Get-Together, Membership Drives, Awards

for talented Students, Iftar Programs and Fund raising fo

calamities. Through our activities we have endeavored

not only to bringing people of Mangalore closer, but haveinvolved people from various parts of the Indian sub

continent. All the funds raised through these events are

used for the various projects back home.

In line with our fund raising activities for Jam'iyyatu

Falah, we have planned our Annual Get-Togethe

(JF Summer Event -2011) to be held on Thursday

12th May 2011 at Al-Roshd Resort, Riyadh.

Our previous events were mainly sponsored by: Suhana

Travels, Safa Makkah Polyclinic, Mitsubishi Electric SaudLtd., NCMS Ltd., Muhaidib Foods, Mariam Trading Co.

Pepsi, Coca Cola and some of our co-sponsors were
