Four Great Handmade Jewellery Ideas You Can Make

Making your own jewellery can be a lot of fun and it gives you the opportunity to create something

unique and one of a kind. If you like making your own jewellery, you will always be on the lookout

for new and creative ideas that will inspire you. Of course, you can make up your own ideas for

jewellery designs and have fun experimenting. However, sometimes it is a lot of fun to start with a

creative project to give you a base to work from.

Here are four different handmade jewellery ideas that you can make quickly and easily:

1. Start by threading the multi-coloured beads onto the elastic cord and finishing it with a

double knot.

2. Once you have finished this, you can insert the doubled over cord through the hole in the

hair clip.

3. You can then trim a feather and apply some glue to the end, inserting the feather into the

last bead. You will now have a pretty beaded and feathered decoration that you can clip into

your hair!

Mini Hama Bead Earrings

Supplies:

Mini Hama Beads

Tweezers

Mini Hama Bead Peg Board

Grease Proof Paper

Fish Hook Earring Wire

Jump Rings

An Iron

Mini Hama beads are a lot of fun, as you can arrange them in any way that you like and then “set”

the design by slightly melting them with the iron. If you like, you can use them to make fun earrings

of your own design. Simply place the beads onto the mini pegboard using the tweezers. Once you

have arranged them into the earring design that you like, place the grease proof paper on top and

iron them. If you are making this jewellery with children, make sure that they have adult supervision

and that they know not to touch the iron when it is hot!

Make sure to let them cool down before you handle them. Once they are cool, attach them to a fish

hook ear wire by using the jump rings. Now you have your own pair of unique homemade earrings!

This is a pretty simple project, but it will look really cute and stylish when you are done – especially if

you can find a lot of fun beads and charms.

The first step is to thread the beads and charms onto your silicone bracelet, alternating the colours

and using the stop rings as spacers.

You can add as many or as few charms as you like, in order to create the look that you want. When

you are finished, fasten the bracelet onto your risk and rock those charms!

1. The first step is to attach a crimp bead onto a wire and pull both ends through. Use the

jewellery pliers to make a small loop.

2.

3. Next, pull the beads onto the wire, including one large bead in the middle.

4. When you are finished putting the beads on the wire, finish the same way with a crimp

bead.

5. Then, cut off the excess wire.

6. The next step is to repeat the same procedure. However, instead of putting another large

bead on the chain, simply pull the wire through the same large bead that you used on the

first wire.

7. Once you are done, gather the two wires together and fasten them with a round jump ring.

Add a clasp so that you can wear the bracelet. Voila!
