It is a viable event because:

Members can socialise while walking

Pathway is easy for families who have kids to walk, prams-friendly

Minimal cost to participate

Easy to add on a yakisoba barbecue after the walk (if the committee decides to)

Single JETs can get together in a group speed-dating style

Non-single JETs can come along but must identify as taken

Must state limited liability for JETAA

Australia Japan relationships

Assisting JETs pre departure and upon return

Supporting Japanese communities through fundraising, raising awareness
