Fast and efficient safety in the event of an emergency: JET’s 24 Volt and 48 Volt technology ensures that smoke is exhausted quickly and reliably. The components concerned are tested in accordance with DIN EN 12101-2 in order to be supplied as CE-certified products. For reliable personal safety in all types of building.

performanCe

Elektro smoke exhausting systems supplied by JET offer high-performance, natural smoke-exhausting by means of light domes and continuous roof light flaps. Snow loads of up to 1.000 N / m² and winds of up to 1.500 N / m² can be handled without difficulty. Aerodynamically-shaped exhausting surfaces of up to 4.52 m2 in area can be opened without any loss in performance. The advantages of using a few large surfaces rather than many smaller ones lie in the lower costs of device installation, operation and maintenance. The maximum possible exhausting surfaces of individual items of equipment are of special significance when considering the maintenance of a minimum clearance of 4 m between two DIN 18232 compliant devices. JET Elektro smoke exhausting devices remain fully functional at temperatures as low as -15°C, and can be incorporated without difficulty into a building’s existing systems.

All JET products meet the highest quality specifications, and are subjected to trials by accredited test centres to ensure compliance with DIN EN 12101-2. JET products are also subject to ongoing in-house quality-assurance testing and external accident-prevention audits carried out in conjunction with the VdS in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001. This ensures that maximum, uniform quality standards are achieved and maintained at all times.

All components connected to the system are permanently monitored and checked for correct functioning, allowing short-circuits and broken wires to be detected and located without delay. This guarantees a high level of operating reliability. The central control system uses various LCD indicators and an acoustic signal generator to keep the user informed of the system’s current status. These mechanisms guarantee maximum transparency and reliability for the operation of JET smoke exhausting technology.
