Send: Printed submissions must be postmarked by Thursday, April 25, or hand-delivered to Jones Park by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1. Digital submissions for PCA must be emailed to jjp@hcp4.net by Wednesday, May 1.

Win: Ribbons will be presented for the best entries in each division during an awards presentation Saturday, May 4, at 1 p.m.

Calling all amateur photographers to participate in this annual event. Get your cameras and mobile devices ready to capture the natural beauty within Jones Park! Whether you visit the park regularly with your family or for the various festivals throughout the year, there are countless opportunities to snap a winning image.

DETAILSWho: Amateur photographers, excluding Harris County Precinct 4 employees, are invited to participate.

Prints: Limited to one photo submission per category, per contestant. Color or black and white prints (no slides) must be submitted in one of the following sizes: 5 x 7 inches, 8 x 10 inches, or 8 x 12 inches. Photos must be displayed on a mounting board or matted at least one size larger than the print. The back of each photo must be labeled with the photographer’s name, phone number, address, division, category, and where the photo was taken within Jones Park.

People’s choice award: Photos submitted for the PCA must be emailed to jjp@hcp4.net as a JPEG or PNG and include the photographer’s name, phone number, address, division, category, and where the photo was taken within Jones Park. Print photos for other categories may be resubmitted in digital format for the PCA.

Photo Return: Please include a stamped, self-addressed envelope for return of photos. Printed entries will be on display until June 30, then returned by mail. Entries received without a return envelope may be picked up in person at the Nature Center from July 1 through August 26.
